You can use this projector in both ways wired or wireless connection, to use wired connection you need to connect your smartphone with its data cable with projector and if you want to use this projector freely wireless connection then you have to use Wi-Fi to connects with projector.
Note:
The Wi-Fi adaptor included with EZCast Beam H3 enables wireless content streaming from mobile devices. To stream videos with either the EZMirror (Miracast) feature built into our app or the Google Home app, make sure your Android phone supports HDCP with Miracast if you wish to watch online copyright-protected movies. Users using Macbooks can only replicate online streaming content via Chrome browser casting. H3 is also compatible with all common TV sticks, including Roku and Amazon Fire TV sticks, both of which offer Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and other streaming services.

- Selection “Android>” “Wireless” after power on
- Find mirroring function on your phone
- Find “BeamH3-XXX” to mirror
- Now your phone is projected to the screen
To connect with IOS:
- Select “IOS>” “Wireless” after power on
- Go to “Screen Mirroring” on your phone
- Find “BeamH3-XXXX” to mirror
- Now your phone is projected to the screen

How can I change the projection to portrait mode?****
In Settings, you could quickly change the cast mode from Horizontal to Portrait.
How is the image on the Beam H3 projector adjusted?****
The H3 projector has automated vertical keystone correction, which detects distortion and corrects it for you.
How should the remote controller be correctly configured?****
Point your remote control at the screen while checking the battery (the battery is not included in the package due to shipping constraints).
How can the sound volume be changed?****
To get the loudest volume possible, please use the projector’s control panel button or remote control rather than a mobile device.
How can I link my phone or Wi-Fi to the projector?****
Please use the “Wireless Kit” port of the projector rather than the “USB” port to connect the Wi-Fi dongle, text side facing up. Once it has been inserted, you can start the projector and set the Wi-Fi configuration for wireless casting.
How can I cast from my type-C port device?****
Please verify that Display Alt mode is supported by your device.
What is the projector’s operating temperature?****
Please maintain the projector at temperatures below 30 °C.
Which type(s) of power source(s) is/are this using?****
The EZCast Beam H3 projector may be powered by an external source and has no battery. The package includes an AC adapter.
Does the projector provide power delivery standard (USB-c pd) charging when a device is connected via USB-C? Exactly which power profiles, if any?****
The projector will charge the connected device with a 5V/1A power source when it is connected to the projector via USB-C (USB-C+ Display Port Alt mode) for screen casting.
Is there an app store there?****
There is no app store for the H3 projector.
Could I stream or cast Funimation and Crunchy roll?****
Wireless casting does not support streaming apps due to a copyright protection problem. However, you can still use your laptop or computer to stream these apps by attaching an HDMI wire to the projector.
Does this have “built in” Wi-Fi or is there only a suitable port that needs to be purchased along with a Wi-Fi dongle?****
The deal includes a free Wi-Fi dongle.
Can a portable battery or power bank be used to power this?****
A portable battery or power bank might not be able to power the Beam H3 since it needs 19V/5.43A.
Can you use it in the daytime?****
When you play it indoors, the projection will still be rather clear during the day.
Can it be placed on the ceiling?****
Yes, you can mount the projector on the ceiling using a ceiling mount bracket.
