Battery Precautions

This device comes with a rechargeable lithium battery with 2500mAh/9.5Wh.

  1. When the battery level is at 0%, the device will automatically shut down. In this case, please charge the battery immediately. When the battery level is at 0%, the alarm  function will be disabled.

  2. In an environment of 23℃, after a Wi-Fi connection and no Bluetooth pairing, insert four temperature probes, adjust the brightness to the lowest level, and mute the alarm sound, the battery can last for about 32 hours.
Increasing screen brightness, turning on alarm sound, and enabling Wi-Fi can reduce the battery life. Probe temperature can also affect the battery life.
Disabling Wi-Fi and decreasing screen brightness can save battery power and significantly extend battery life.
Bluetooth connection without Wi-Fi enabled allows for longer battery life.
Disabling Wi-Fi and no Bluetooth pairing can achieve a super long battery life.

  3. Use a standard USB Type-C 2.0/3.0 data cable to charge the device.

  4. Use a 5V 1A USB power adaptor to charge the device.
In an environment of 23℃, the battery can be charged up to 45% within 60 minutes, and up to 80% within 120 minutes.

  5. Working Environment:
Discharging: -10℃~60℃, with highest humidity 90%RH.
The best discharge temperature is 15℃~25℃, and the battery has the highest working efficiency at this temperature.
Charging: 0℃~45℃, with highest humidity 90%RH. The best charging temperature is 20℃~25℃, and at this temperature, the battery can be charged to the maximum
    capacity in the shortest time.

  6. Using the device in an environment above 40℃ or below 0℃ may affect the battery life.

  7. Temperature affects the chemical activity of the battery, so when using the device in an environment below 0℃, it is normal for the battery level to display incorrectly.

  8. Normal storage environment: -20℃~45℃,65% ±20%RH; Best storage environment: 0°C~30°C, 65%±10%RH.
Storing the device with its battery out of power may lead to deep discharge status. In this case, it can no longer be recharged. Conversely, storing the device with
its battery fully charged may reduce battery capacity and shorten battery life.
If you plan to store the device for more than six months, you should charge it to 50% battery capacity every six months and store it at a temperature between 0 ℃ and 30℃.

  9. Do not use the device in a high-temperature or cold environment.

  10. Do not use the device in an environment with high humidity, such as a bathroom, or in an environment where water may splash. It may cause battery damage.

Notes:

  1. After the Wi-Fi network is configured, the device will connect to the cloud server, as long as your smartphone can access networks (via mobile data or any Wi-Fi
network), you can remotely control the device and monitor data through the App anytime, anywhere.

  2. During the Wi-Fi configuration state, if the Wi-Fi network cannot be paired within 10 minutes, the device’s Wi-Fi will be automatically turned off to reduce power consumption.

  3. There is a protection function for the misoperation of the device’s Wi-Fi. After the device is successfully paired with a Wi-Fi network, you can press the power button three times to reset the device and let it enter the network configuration state. If the device is not paired with a new network within three minutes, the device will automatically restore the Wi-Fi network that was paired before the reset. After a Wi-Fi reset, if the device shuts down in the middle, once it restarts, it will also automatically restore the Wi-Fi network that was paired before the reset. If you want to remove the network configuration information, you can remove it through the App, so the device will not restore and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network that was paired before the reset.

  4. When using the Wi-Fi function, keep the device as close as possible to the router. The Wi-Fi signal will be too weak to establish a connection if the distance between the device and the router is too long or obtained by a wall.

  5. When using the Bluetooth function, keep the device as close as possible to your smartphone. The Bluetooth signal will be too weak to establish a connection if the distance between the device and the router is too long or obtained by a wall.

  6. When using a wireless connection, placing the device on a metal table or sticking it to a metal object will make the wireless signal too weak to establish the connection.

  7. When using a wireless connection, keep the device away from any metal object and better stand it in a place 1 meter over the ground.

  8. The security encryption method only supports WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA2 PSK (AES) WPA3. If the router has another way of security encryption set up, the device will not be able to connect to Wi-Fi.

  9. Check on FAQs in the manual or contact us via email if you fail to establish a connection. When emailing us, please describe your problem in detail, including the
country or region of residence, your device model, purchase time, phone model, phone OS version, app version, device virtual ID, and screenshots/videos (if you have any). The more information we have, the faster we can help you solve your problem.

FAQs

Q: Why it is failed to connect to Wi-Fi network?****

– (e) When the Wi-Fi icon on the device screen is flashing, it means the device is in network configuation. You can press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to enter the network configuration and then press and hold it for 3 seconds again to switch between AP mode (slow flashing) and SmartConfig mode (fast flashing).
– (f) Confirm whether your device supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network or a 5GHz Wi-Fi network, then turn on the relevant Wi-Fi frequency band of the router to connect.
– (g) Make sure your Wi-Fi network name and password are correct. Mistyped spaces and punctuation will cause the Wi-Fi configuration to fail.
– (h) Location services on the smartphone must be turned on during connection. In addition, the app needs permission to access location information. Otherwise, the Wi-Fi connection will fail.
– (i) Keep the smartphone, device, and router as close together as possible to set up a connection.
– (k) Try connecting in another network configuration mode.
– (l) Restart the device and router, then try again.

Q: Can I access the current temperature from anywhere in the world thanks to Wi-Fi as long as I have an internet connection?****

– A: Yes, as long as your phone has access to the Internet, that’s fine.

Q: Why can’t I charge the device?****

– A: (a) Using a USB 2.0 Type-C charge cable.
