How to Activate LT01
To activate LT01 for remote monitoring:

Inserting SIM Card
Put the SIM card into the SIM card tray of the host and insert it back correctly. -
Connecting LT01 to Vantrue Dash Cam
Insert the type C power cord of LT01 into the power interface of the Vantrue dash cam. Ensure the dash cam is on and proceed to the next step.

Warm tips
- Please read this user manual carefully before installation.
- The 4G box needs to be used with a hardwire kit. Please purchase one before installation.
- Before activating the device, please confirm whether your Vantrue dash cam supports 4G networking function and matches the 4G box.

- It is recommended that you activate the device successfully before fixing it on the car to avoid abnormal problems that require disassembly.
- When activating the device, it is recommended that users do it in the car, as the 4G signal outdoors is stronger.
- It is recommended that you purchase a SIM card with good reviews in the region and comprehensive signal coverage. It only needs to support 4G traffic. For SIM card details, you can consult the local operator according to your needs.

How to activate LT01
LT01 realizes remote monitoring function through 4G networking. Therefore, users need to equip a 4G data card according to their own needs, download the Vantrue Connected App, and after successfully activating the device according to the instructions, install the device correctly and start using it. If you have any problems during the installation process, please contact the VANTRUE official in time.
Tips for SIM card purchase: LT01 4G box only requires 4G traffic function and does not require SMS and call functions. Therefore, you can purchase a SIM card after consulting local operators. However, please choose an operator with better scale and brand, as their service range and quality are relatively good.
Insert SIM card
Put the SIM card into the SIM card tray of the host, and insert the card tray
back into the host in the correct direction.
Use LT01 to connect to Vantrue dashcam
Insert the type c port power cord of LT01 into the power interface of the
Vantrue dash cam, keep the Vantrue dash cam on, and wait for the next step.
The power interface of Vantrue dash cam is usually on the host bracket, please connect it correctly.
Use a stable power supply to power on LT01
It is recommended to use the Vantrue hardwire kit to power on the LT01 and
observe whether the LT01 indicator lights up normally. For ease of operation,
when activating the device, you can use other power sources. However, during
normal use, please use the Vantrue hardwire kit to power on it so that the
remote monitoring function can be used normally.
Please read the installation instructions of the hardwire kit in detail for how to install it.
Normal Working Status

Activate LT01 through the Vantrue Connected App
- After confirming that the LT01 status is normal and has connected to the Vantrue dash cam, open the downloaded Vantrue Connected App.
- After completing the registration process, select App Device → 4G Box → Connect Device → Activate Device, and complete the LT01 activation process according to the App guidance.
Notice:
- During the process of activating LT01, do not cut off the power and do not insert or remove the SIM card;
- If activation fails, please check whether the SIM card is being used normally;
- It is recommended to complete the activation process within 2 meters of the device. Only after successful activation can it be used remotely.

Activated LT01 Successfully
After the LT01 is successfully activated, it can control the Vantrue
Connected App and cooperate with the Vantrue dash cam to realize functions
such as remote monitoring, positioning and vehicle search, and electronic
fences.
How to install LT01
Select the installation location of LT01
It is recommended to install LT01 on the back of the rearview mirror or on the
other side of the Vantrue dash cam.
Install LT01
After determining the installation location, first tear off the protective
film of the electrostatic sticker and stick it on the installation location.
Then tear off the other protective film of the electrostatic sticker. Tear off
the 3M adhesive protective film on the back of LT01, and then paste it on the
electrostatic sticker. The installation is complete.
- When installing, please be careful not to be too far away from the Vantrue dash cam;
- Do not install it in a position that blocks the driver’s sight;
- The installation position can be as high as possible. After the installation is completed, the device can be removed by pulling down the LT01.
Run the cables
Please run the cables along the gaps in the roof decoration to avoid
affecting driving safety.
4G App Function Introduction
After the LT01 box is activated, a variety of remote functions can be used through the Vantrue Connected App. The 4G function of the App is introduced in two parts, (1) 4G function setting interface; (2) 4G real-time preview interface.
4G function setting interface
- WiFi : Click to enter the WiFi real-time preview interface. This operation requires a close connection to the WiFi of the Vantrue dash cam, so this function cannot be used when the user operates remotely.
- 4G : Click to enter the 4G real-time preview interface. Users can click this function remotely to watch the car situation in real time. They can also perform remote intercom, screenshots, screen recordings and other functions.
- Electronic fence : The user clicks to add an electronic fence, and a message notification will be sent when the vehicle enters or leaves the fence location.
- Message centre: Remote notification information will be summarized in the message center, such as parking monitoring notifications and electronic fence notifications. Users can view remote notification information in a timely manner through message pop-ups or red dot reminders of unread messages.
- Positioning and vehicle search: LT01 will obtain the latest positioning information of the Vantrue dash cam and upload it to the cloud. The user can obtain the vehicle location and navigate to find the vehicle.
- Traffic statistics: View the traffic data of Vantrue Connected in the past three months.
- 4G detection: Check whether the connection network functions of LT01 and Vantrue dash cam are normal.
- 4G box settings: switch the WiFi band, modify the WiFi password, view the WiFi information, and modify the APN access point information.
4G real-time preview interface
4G function: Users can click the “4G” option to enter the 4G real-time preview interface. In this interface, they can use remote intercom, screen recording, snapshots, switch camera display, enter folders, remotely browse dash cam files (SD card files, cloud space files, mobile phone local files), enter settings , and remotely change Vantrue dash cam settings.
Notice:
- The above functions need to ensure that the power supply of the device is normal. It is recommended to use a hardwire kit or other constant power supply.
- The 4G function will consume SIM card traffic, please use it according to the actual traffic package.
- In order to prevent SIM card traffic from being stolen, it is recommended to change the WiFi password in the 4G box settings.
- If the user deletes LT01 and Vantrue dash cam models by mistake, just re-add the device within 3 days, and the data will not be deleted.

FAQ
Why is the 4G network signal poor?
Signal propagation is affected by geographical location. Areas with high building and population density have relatively good signals; network congestion will also cause poor network signals; operator network coverage, different operators may have different network coverage in different areas if it exceeds the operator's network coverage, it will also cause poor network signals
After the LT01 is successfully activated, the Vantrue dash cam cannot be connected?
Vantrue dash cam currently has WiFi version and 4G version. Please use LT01 with the Vantrue 4G version dash cam;
Why does LT01 automatically shut down after turning off the engine and getting out of the car?
If you want to remotely monitor the vehicle's condition while parking, you need to use a matching Vantrue hardwire kit. The device works normally, but why cannot it receive App information reminders? The user may have turned off the App pop-up reminder. Please turn on the App pop-up reminder in the mobile phone system settings;
Will browsing video/picture files remotely consume 4G data?
Yes, because data needs to be provided through the LT01 box, please use this function according to your own traffic conditions.
What types of files will be uploaded to the cloud space?
Currently, AI collision files under parking monitoring will be uploaded to the cloud space.
How to manage files in cloud space?
Users can enter the cloud folder to view the current number of files, and delete or download files. When the storage capacity of the cloud space is insufficient, it will auto-overwrite the old files with the latest uploaded files. Users are advised to check or transfer important files in time.
