Product Usage Instructions
Setting up the DS3608 Scanner
- Insert the cable fully into the scanner and ensure the connector is flush with the scanner surface.
- Loosen the metal lock plate screws using a PH1 driver.
- Slide the lock plate to the fully locked position.
- Tighten the screws using a PH1 driver and torque to 5.8 kgf-cm (5.0 lbf-in).

123Scan2 is an easy-to-use, PC-based software tool that enables rapid and easy
customized setup of a scanner via a bar code or USB cable. For more

Vehicle Installation
RF signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded
electronic systems in motor vehicles (including safety systems). Check with
the manufacturer or its representative regarding your vehicle. Ensure the
equipment is installed to avoid driver distractions. You should also consult
the manufacturer about any equipment that has been added to your vehicle.
Position the device within easy reach. User should be able to access the
device without removing their eyes from the road.

Remember to observe restrictions and obey all signs and instructions on the

very bright light source such as the sun, the user should avoid staring
