Mueller MLI1212 Ankle Brace and Stabilizer

Intended Use:

Ankle Brace- Provides advanced support and protection for weak, injured, or unstable ankles.
Helps protect from injury or re-injury.
Ankle Stabilizers- Provide support and protection to weak, injured, or arthritic ankles.
Sky™ Ankle Stabilizer- Provides advanced support. Helps protect from injury.
How to Apply: ( 42370, 42371, 42372, 42373, 42374, 42375B)

  1. Wear brace over sock.
  2. Pull brace firmly onto foot.
  3. Lace up for a snug comfortable fit.
  4. Relace as necessary to maintain support

How to Apply: (64417)

  1. Slip stabilizer onto foot.
  2. Align heel opening with heel.
  3. Secure upper strap.
  4. Criss cross the tension straps.
  5. Wrap tension straps around ankle and secure.

How to Apply: (41770, 41771, 41772, 41773, 41774, 42770, 42771, 42772, 42773, 42774)

  1. Pull brace over sock and firmly onto foot.
  2. Lace to top and tighten for a comfortable fit.
  3. Pull stirrup straps straight up and secure.
  4. Wrap inside strap in front of ankle and around the side to secure.
  5. Repeat Step 4 with outside strap.

How to Apply: (4552, 4554)

  1. Wear brace over sock.
  2. Place brace inside shoe first. Brace imprint indicates outside of ankle for proper placement.
  3. Step into shoe. Align the pivot points with ankle bones on both sides. (Higher ankle bone is on the inside).
  4. Secure the shells with the adjustable top strap for a firm comfortable fit.
  5. Allow a brief break-in period while brace adjusts to your individual ankle.

How to Apply: (4556)

  1. Wear brace over sock.
  2. Place heel of foot into the stirrup.
  3. Raise the two shells to a comfortable position on each side of the ankle.
  4. Adjust heel stirrup straps for a custom fit. Freeze only gel pads, not whole brace.

How to Apply: (4572, 6541)

  1. Open brace by removing Adjust-to-fit™ side panels and insert foot.
  2. Reattach Adjust-to-fit™ side panels
  3. Lace up for a snug comfortable fit.
  4. Adjust as necessary.

How to Apply: (44547, 6518, 6518ML)

  1. Place heel in round opening with arch of foot on top of the section marked BOTTOM.
  2. Fasten section over arch of foot.
  3. Fasten top section around ankle.
  4. Criss-cross Figure 8 straps around ankle.
  5. Adjust as needed.

How to Apply: (6417ML)

  1. Step into the brace. Make certain the side stirrups are centered along the lower leg and ankle.
  2. Wrap the lower strap snugly around the brace.
  3. If necessary, adjust the heel width. Peel back the bottom layer of the hook and loop. Hold brace snugly against ankle and reapply hook and loop.
  4. Wrap to strap and readjust the lower strap as necessary to achieve a snug fit.
  5. Apply the shoe. Tighten laces.
  6. If necessary, inflate the aircells for additional compression and support. Inflate aircells by first peeling back the top portion of the bladder pads to locate the air valves. Insert the provided air tube through the air valve and inflate. DO NOT OVERINFLATE

How to Apply: (49631, 49632, 49633, 49634, 49641, 49642, 49643, 49644)

For best results, wear stabilizer over sock and apply while seated on a bench or chair with knees at 90 degrees and ankle in a neutral position.

  1. Loosen the foot strap and leave the “hook” end of the strap unfastened.
  2. Loosen the ankle strap and pull the “hook” end through the eyelet on the stabilizer.
  3. Slide foot into the stabilizer and adjust the stabilizer position for comfort.
  4. Wrap the ankle strap behind, adjusting the position of the sliding pad comfortably over the Achilles.
  5. Feed the “hook” end of the ankle strap through the eyelet, and fasten back upon itself, adjusting strap position and tension for comfort.
  6. Adjust the foot position as needed, then fasten the “hook” end onto the strap firmly.
    a. Do not fasten too tightly as this may affect how the product sits on the foot.

Straps should be fastened securely without overtightening. The ankle strap may need to be adjusted after shoe application. If the stabilizer shifts during shoe application, remove shoes and reposition stabilizer under the arch and securely fasten the foot strap before re-applying shoes.
*CAUTION: Not made with natural rubber latex.
