Product Overview
The Banger Pocket provides an effective solution for carrying flashbangs,
smoke grenades, and more. It features an adjustable retention flap that
attaches via hook and loop, providing ample room to fit a variety of items.
The pocket utilizes a silent tuck tab system to avoid noise from Velcro/snaps.
Additionally, there is an internally routed shock cord to secure the contents
in place.
Installation
Retention Flap
- Insert the Retention Flap into the Banger Pocket, ensuring the Velcro hook attaches to the interior pocket’s Velcro loop.
- Place the item in the pocket and adjust the Retention Flap to align with the top of the item.
- Bring the Retention Flap over the item, ensuring alignment, and thread the shock cord through the holes on the flap.
- Tie an overhand knot in the shock cord for retention adjustment.
- Insert the Silent Tuck Tab into the slot on the front of the Banger Pocket and test retention.
- Tuck the knot behind the slot on the Retention Flap and test retention again, adjusting shock cord if needed.
Small Radio Configuration
- To convert the Banger Pocket into a small radio pocket, remove the Retention Flap and use the Silent Tuck Tab.
- Weave the MOLLE strap through the back of the pocket and insert the MOLLE tuck tab into the bottom row.
- Thread one end of the shock cord through the MOLLE strap and tie an overhand knot under it for retention adjustment.
- Insert the Silent Tuck Tab into the front slot, test retention, and adjust shock cord if necessary.
- Once retention is set, use the cord lock and internal shock cord to cinch and secure the item.

Banger Pocket | Installation
Retention Flap
- Insert Retention Flap into the Banger Pocket evenly attaching Velcro hook to the interior pocket Velcro loop.
- Place the item into the Banger Pocket and adjust the Retention Flap ensuring the crown aligns with the top of the item.
- Bring Retention Flap overtop of the item and verify crown is aligned evenly. The crease of the Retention Flap should be centered with the item.
- Thread shock cord through the holes on the Retention Flap.
- Tie an overhand knot. Keep the knot loosely tied for retention adjustment.
- Insert Silent Tuck Tab into the slot on the front of the Banger Pocket. Test retention and adjust shock cord if needed.
- After the retention is set, tuck the overhand knot behind the slot on the Retention Flap.
Banger Pocket | Small Radio Configuration
- The Banger Pocket can be reconfigured into a small radio pocket by removing the Retention Flap and using the Silent Tuck Tab.
- Weave the MOLLE strap through the back of the Banger Pocket and insert the MOLLE tuck tab into the bottom row of the Banger Pocket.
- Thread one end of the shock cord through the MOLLE strap.
- Tie an overhand knot and center knot under the MOLLE strap. Keep the knot loosely tied for retention adjustment.
- Insert Silent Tuck Tab into the slot on the front of The Banger Pocket. Test retention and adjust the shock cord if needed.
- After retention is set, use the cord lock and internal shock cord to cinch and secure the item.
