Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this
product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Only use this product when it is properly mounted in a surface.
- The mounting surface selected must be capable of supporting the full weight of the product.
- Take care not to puncture any pipes or mains cables beneath the surface during mounting hole preparation.
- The product must be mounted in accordance with the distances specified in this manual.
- Before connecting the product, make sure that the technical specifications match those of the connected device.
Intended Use
- This product is intended for audio output. It is intended for installation in false ceilings or walls.
- This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
- Check for transport damages.
DANGER – Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from
children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Placement
- The characteristics of a room plays an important role in the performance and overall sound of the system. For best performance, install a pair of loudspeakers every 160-215 square feet (15-20 square meters).
- A room with minimum furniture or with large windows can increase the audible high frequencies. Whereas a carpeted room with lots of furniture or curtains decreases the higher frequencies.
- If a diffused sound field or more emphasis on low frequencies is desired, place the loudspeakers near a reflecting surface (such as an adjacent wall or ceiling).
- Observe the following minimum surface distances.

Mounting
Step 1:
- Turn the holding arms outwards.
- Press the holding arms down alternately. The screws push out the grille.
Step 2 (optional):
Bezel
- Remove the outer circle from the painting mask.
- Cover the membrane of the product with the painting mask.
- Apply paint as necessary with a minimum of 2 thin coats.
- Remove the paint mask when dry.
Grille
NOTICE – Spray painting is highly recommended as brush painting may clog
the grille holes.
- Place on an even surface.
- Apply paint as necessary with a minimum of 2 thin coats.
Step 3:
- Press the outer circle out of the cut-out template.
- Attach the template to the mounting surface.
- Mark the cut-out area through the template.
- Cut-out the hole.
Step 4:
NOTICE – The speaker cables should be stripped 1/2 in (12 mm) minimum.
The endings should be twisted to a single strand.
It is important to make the connection using the correct polarity.
- Press the button on the terminal to open the clamp.
- Insert the strand of the cable and release the button.
Step 5:
- Press the holding arms up and turn them inwards.
- Insert the product into the mounting hole.
- Tighten the 4 flathead screws until the speaker fits firmly.
- Replace the grille on the speaker.
Dismounting
- Use a paper clip and bend it into the shape of a hook to carefully pull out the grille at several positions.
- Loosen the 4 flathead screws. The holding arms will turn automatically inwards when they reach the upper position.
- Carefully remove the speaker from the surface.
- Press the terminal buttons and pull out the cables.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning.

the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running
water.
- Except for occasional cleaning, this product is maintenance-free.
- To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Dry the product after cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
