Quick Start with Soldering Iron

Charge the Portable Power Station by connecting a USB-C charger
to the rear port until the battery indicator shows full. -
Plug the Soldering Iron into one of the front USB-C Smart
Ports. -
Flip out the kickstand and attach the Soldering Iron to the
Tool Mount on the Portable Power Station. -
Press and hold the Action Button for 3 seconds to turn on the
Portable Power Station. -
Adjust the temperature by rotating the Selector dial. Wait one
second for the temperature limit to set, then start using the
soldering iron.

QUICK START
With Soldering Iron
To charge, connect a USB-C charger to the rear port until the battery
indicator shows full.

Plug the Soldering Iron into one of the front USB-C Smart Ports.
Flip out the kickstand and attach the Soldering Iron to the Tool Mount on the
Portable Power Station.
Press and hold the Action Button for 3 seconds to turn on the Portable Power
Station.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

· Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI
Z87.1 when assembling parts, operating the product, or performing maintenance.
· When the Portable Power Station is not in use, keep it away from other metal
objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal
objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
· Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts
eyes, seek additional medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
· Do not use a Portable Power Station that is damaged or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire,
explosion, or risk of injury.
· Do not expose a Portable Power Station to fire or excessive temperature.
Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C/265°F may cause explosion.

· Use this product with specific power sources, such as iFixit 65W GaN Fast
Charger (IF145-542-1). Use of other power sources may create a risk of injury
and fire.
· Do not charge the Portable Power Station outside the temperature range of
045°C/32113°F. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the
specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
· Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is

Action Button Hold down to turn the Portable Power Station on and off, click

Display User Interface This main screen is referred to as the Ready Screen.
Battery Indicator Check the power level of your FixHub Portable Power Station.

Unit Display Displays the current measured value or set value of a connected
tool or device. See Navigating the Menus (p. 14) for more detail on changing
unit type on the Unit Display.

Power Indicator Displays how much power is currently being delivered through
the corresponding Smart Port, ranging from 0W to 100W.
Port Status Indicator Shows the current activity for the corresponding Smart
Port.
· Blank: No tool is connected. · Filled: Tool is turned ON. · Glowing: Tool is
connected and
displaying units. · Grayed Out: Tool is connected but
other port is displaying units.

Using the Kickstand and Tool Mounts Fold the kickstand down to prop up the front of the Portable Power Station and make it easier to use on a workbench. Fold the kickstand back up for storage.

If the Portable Power Station is powered on and charging, the battery icon on the left of the screen will animate to indicate charging. If the Portable Power Station is powered off and charging, a large battery icon will appear in the center of the screen and animate to indicate charging.
Attach tools to either side of the Portable Power Station by sliding their spring clips onto the Tool Mount. The tool mount is round, which allows FixHub tools to be mounted at a variety of angles for benchtop or mobile use.

With iFixit’s 65W GaN Fast Charger connected to the rear USB-C port, a
Portable Power Station will recharge fully depleted batteries in about 2
hours. It is safe to leave your Portable Power Station connected to the
charger continually to ensure always topped-up batteries.

Tool Use Press and hold the Action Button for 3 seconds to power on the
Portable Power Station. It will boot up, play its introduction animation, then
display the Ready Screen, which will indicate which tools, if any, are
connected to the Portable Power Station. Refer to each tool’s user manual for
directions on navigating the FixHub Portable Power Station menu for that tool.
Using the Portable Power Station as a Device Charger Your Portable Power
Station can perform as a power source/device charger for compatible devices.
When fully charged, the Portable Power Station can provide 100W of charging
power, and has enough capacity to fully recharge a large smartphone 3-4 times.
Navigating the Menus To change unit type, click the Selector knob and go to
Units. Turn the knob to select desired units and click to select. Press the
Action Button to return to the Ready Screen.

MAINTENANCE Firmware Updates
To check for firmware updates, go to ifixit.com/FixHub
Storage · Disconnect any connected USB devices
before storing. · Exposure to extreme temperatures may
damage your Portable Power Station’s batteries. Keep it within -20°C/-5°F to
+50°C/120°F.
Battery Replacement Your FixHub Portable Power Station battery is designed to
be safely and easily replaced by qualified individuals.
Troubleshooting and Repair · Tool plugged into Portable Power
Station but not recognized: Check connections, try the other front USB port on
