INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place your Maverick R on flat ground and ensure machine is in park (P).
  2. Remove the 16 bolts holding the bed to the frame using a T30 Torx bit. Taking care to set the LinQ System bracket bolts to the side. These will be used to mount your Packout Bed Mount.
  3. There are two bolts that have a nut on the bottom side of the frame. You will need to use a 10mm socket or wrench to remove these two bolts.
  4. Remove the four bolts holding the bed to the rear plastics using a T15 and T40 Torx bits.
  5. Use a flat head screwdriver or a plastic rivet puller to remove the two plastic rivets holding the rear cowling on the front side of the bed.
  6. Next, you will have to lift up the corner of the rear cowling and you will notice there is a screw on each side of the bed under this piece of plastic. Remove the two bolts using a T30 Torx bit. (Picture A)
  7. Once all bolts are removed, you can grab onto the d-loops on the bed closest to the rear of the machine and lift up. You should be able to remove the whole bed as one piece as you slide it out of its factory position.
  8. Pay close attention to the 8 retaining nuts that came loose once removing the bolts from the top side. You may have to look around for them under the machine or sitting on the frame since we will re-use these in the installation of the Packout Bed Mount.
  9. Now that the whole bed is removed from the machine, set it on a table or workbench in preparation for installing the Packout Bed Mount.
  10. Place the Packout Bed Mount on top of your bed and line up the bolt holes with the original LinQ System bracket holes on the bed. (Picture C)
  11. Utilitizing the LinQ System brackets bolts, place them through the bolt holes on the Packout Mount and place a retaining nut on the bottom side in a way that it can index into the bed. (Picture D)
  12. Hand tighten the bolts enough to hold the mount in place and then work your way around the bed making sure all bolts are fitting correctly.
  13. Once all bolts have been tightened by hand, fully tighten them using a T30 Torx bit.
  14. Now you can reinstall your bed panel back onto your machine using your factory hardware.
