SAFETY INFORMATION

For your safety, this the appliance complies with the applicable regulatory standards. Read these safety tips carefully. Improper use or non-compliance with the user guide and safety instructions will release the brand from any liability. For start-up, cleaning, and maintenance operations, refer to the user guide.

  • Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped and has visible damage or malfunctions. In this case, do not open the appliance, but send it to the Authorized Service Center closest to your home, as special tools are required to carry out any repairs in order to avoid a danger.
  • Repairs should only be carried out by specialists with original spare parts: repairing an appliance and its accessories yourself can be a danger for the user.
  • Use only accessories that are guaranteed to be original.
  • Always turn off the appliance before maintenance or cleaning.
  • Always turn off the appliance before plugging in or unplugging the accessory
  • Do not vacuum ultrafine substances (plaster, cement, ash, etc.), large sharp debris (glass), harmful products (solvents, strippers, etc.), aggressive products (acids, cleaners, etc.), flammable and explosive (gasoline or alcohol-based).
  • Never immerse the appliance in water upper 5mm, splash water on the appliance, or store it outdoors.
  • In case of short suction breaks, for safety reasons, do not place the product in an unstable position (e.g. leaning on a wall, on a table or on the back of a chair).
  • Tidy up cables, supply cords, small and loose items. Remove any unstable, fragile, precious and dangerous items from the ground.
  • WARNING : Only use the supply unit provided with this appliance. (see page 14 Specifications)
  • The external cord of this supply unit cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the transformer shall be scrapped.
  • If the pins of the plug parts are damaged, the plug-in supply unit shall be scrapped.
  • Never pull the electric cord to disconnect the supply unit.
  • Unplug the charger when the device is fully charged.

For countries subject to European regulations ( marking):

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older andpeople who lack experience and knowledge or have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, if they have been trained and supervised in the safe use and are aware of the risks involved. Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user should not be done by children unsupervised. Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children.

For other countries not subject to European regulations:

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without experience or knowledge, unless they have been given prior supervision or instruction in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

User guide

  • This appliance is for household and indoor domestic use only.
  • This appliance is intended for use on hard ground.
  • Do not use on rugs, carpets, walls and windows.
  • Do not use the appliance without water tanks and roller.
  • Do not use your appliance on fragile or water-sensitive ground.
  • We recommend that you check the floor manufacturer’s instructions for use and precautions and test the appliance on an inconspicuous surface before cleaning.
  • Rinse the rollers before first use.

Security

  • Do not use on people or animals.
  • Do not expose the appliance to temperatures <0°C and >45°C.
  • Do not put water with a temperature >50°C in the tank.
  • Do not put greasy products (e.g. black soap), foaming, toxic, flammable, explosive, corrosive, aggressive or with solid particles in the water tank.
  • Do not put bleach in the product
  • Household white vinegar can be used to descale the product no more than once a year.
  • The addition of household detergents to the water tank is your responsibility; Rowenta / Tefal cannot be held responsible for any problems associated with their use. Follow the recommendations of detergent manufacturers and do not mix several products in the tank.
  • This appliance makes the floors damp, so they can be slippery.
  • Do not use the appliance barefoot, in flip-flops or open-toed shoes.
  • Do not tear off or mouth the water tank cap.
  • Do not use the appliance on hot surfaces.
  • Do not use the appliance on electrical appliances such as the inside of ovens or electrical outlets.
  • Do not use your appliance if the water tank is leaking.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, eyes, mouth, ears, and other parts of the body away from openings and moving parts of the appliance, including the cleaning head.
  • Do not touch the rotating parts without stopping the product and disconnecting the supply unit.

Battery information

  • This unit contains batteries (Lithium Ion) which for safety reasons are only accessible by a professional repairer.
  • Do not expose the appliance or battery to excessive temperature.
  • WARNING : The battery used in this appliance may present risk of fire or chemical burn if used incorrectly. It should not be disassembled, short-circuited or stored at < 0°C and > 40°C or incinerated. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not disassemble it or throw it in fire.
  • When the battery is no longer able to hold the charge, the battery pack (Lithium Ion) should be removed. To replace the batteries, contact your nearest Approved Service Centre.
  • Do not replace a block of rechargeable batteries with non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Be aware of the risk – Do not let batteries touch other metal objects (rings, nails, screws, etc). You must take care not to create short circuits in the batteries by inserting metal objects at their ends. If a short circuit occurs, the battery temperature may rise dangerously and can cause serious burns or even catch fire.
  • If the batteries leak and in case of contact, do not rub your eyes or any mucous membranes. Wash your hands and rinse your eyes with clean water. If the discomfort persists, consult your doctor.

Maintenance/Storage/After-sales service

  • Turn off the product before performing service or cleaning.
  • Remove the roller before storing your appliance.
  • Empty the water tanks before storing your appliance.
  • Do not wash the roller in the dishwasher or washing machine.
  • Do not put your appliance under water and use a dry or damp cloth or to clean the suction channel.
  • Use the supplied brush attachment to clean the suction channel and the dirty water tank tube.
  • Do not clean the water outlet nozzles with aggressive or abrasive materials/tools.
  • Do not store the product at heights.
  • Use only guaranteed original roller.

ENVIRONMENT
In accordance with current regulations, any end-of-life appliance must be deposited in an authorized Service Center which will manage its disposal. Let’s help protect the environment. Your appliance is designed to work for many years. But when you decide to replace it, don’t forget to think about how you can help protect the environment by allowing it to be reused, recycled, or otherwise reclaimed. Waste electrical and electronic equipment can contain harmful substances that can harm the environment and human health. This label indicates that this product should not be disposed of with household waste. Bring it to a collection point, to the distributor when purchasing a new equivalent product, or to an authorized service center for processing. Before disposing of the appliance, remove the battery and dispose of it in accordance with local laws and regulations. If you have any questions, please contact your product dealer who will be able to tell you what to do.

The water distribution system is clogged.| Fill your water tank with cold household white vinegar and perform one Self-Clean cycle.
The water flow is too low.| Make sure that you are using AUTO mode or MAX mode.


The appliance does not clean the floor properly.

| The roller is dirty.| Launch Self-Clean cycle, then clean the roller by hand.
The appliance has not been set to the correct mode for cleaning.| Use AUTO mode or switch between ECO mode and MAX mode to optimize cleaning.


The appliance damages the floor.

| The accessory has been used without the roller.| Always use the appliance with the roller fitted and the clean water tank full.
A foreign object is stuck in the cleaning head.| Clean the cleaning head.
