Installing AzureSpot Pro on Windows

Installation Process
- Download and install Microsoft .NET 5 Desktop Runtime: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/5.0
- Install Microsoft Visual C+ + x64 re-distributable: https://www.microsoft.com/enus/download/confirmation.aspx?id=52685&6B49FDFB-8E5B-4B07-BC31-15695CSA2143=1
- Run the MSI installer included in this distribution
- Launch the app from the desktop shortcut or the icon in the start menu

Any mac supported by 10.15 Catalina is supported by Azure Spot Pro.
Installation Process
- Download and install Microsoft .NET 5 Runtime: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/5.0
- Open the DMG included in this distribution
- Drag the AzureSpot Pro icon into your Applications folder
- Launch the app from the Applications folder or LaunchPad
Licensing
Applies to both macOS and Windows.
To run the app, you must provide your activation key and allow the system to
perform a one-time activation from our license server.
- Launch AzureSpot Pro
- From the Home screen, click ConfigureLicense (pictured below)
- Enter your activation key into the AcquireLicense field and click Acquire
- Close the configure license window
Delegated Licensing
Applies to both macOS and Windows.
License activation requires an active internet connection. If this is not
available we can use a fall back where another machine that does have internet
access can process the activation request as a proxy.
Let’s call the target, offline machine, PC1 and the support machine that has
internet access PC2.
Start on PC1
- Launch AzureSpot Pro
- From the Home screen, click ConfigureLicense
- Enter your activation key into the activation id field
- Check the Delegate box
- Click Acquire
- Save the request file to your desktop
Move to PC2

Install AzureSpot Pro
Note: AzureSpot Pro can be uninstalled from the 2nd machine after this process is complete and it will not require, or consume a license -
Launch AzureSpot Pro and open the Configure
License window
- Click Browse in the Delegated Activation section
- Select the activation request file from PC7
- Click Process
- Notice a new file, the response file, is generated alongside the request file
- Send the response file to PC7
- Uninstall AzureSpot Pro (if necessary) Back on PC1
- Launch AzureSpot Pro and open the Configure License window
- Click Browse in the Delegated Activation section
- Locate and open the processed response file
- Click Integrate
- Close the configure license window
