With installation and configuration from a VertivTM certified technician, you can be sure your system will be installed correctly and set up to operate at optimal efficiency.
The annual PM included in the bundle will provide an opportunity for a Vertiv technician to check the system and ensure peak operation, including updating the firmware on the iCOM-S to the latest revision so you are able to benefit from the enhancements we are continually developing.
Annual, 3-year, and 5-year contracts are available. Product, service, and training configuration options are available to best suit your data center needs.
Parts and labor warranties are available throughout the duration of the contract. You can be secure knowing your investment will be up and running so you can realize all the benefits and efficiency gains of the iCOM-S system.
With the available points mapping from the iCOM-S, integration with 3rd party BMS systems is simplified, reducing the amount of time required and improving visibility and data integrity.
Optimized Aisle (Teamwork Mode 3)
With the iCOM-S installed, you are able to utilize the benefits of Optimized Aisle (Teamwork Mode 3) control. Optimized Aisle control allows the cooling capacity (Supply Sensor) to operate as a local control by removing only the amount of load required to maintain the discharge air temperature at each unit. This allows for an unbalanced room load while maintaining a consistent discharge air temperature. The fan speed is controlled by the remote rack sensors of all units, providing a controlled delivery method of the air to the cold aisle. In raised floor applications, Liebert® iCOMTM units will share sensor information to achieve even under-floor air distribution. This distribution is achieved by operating all fans in parallel, which will also yield the greatest energy efficiency.

Installation and Configuration
Installation of the iCOM-S Small Form Factor, the Wireless Gateway, and the Wireless Sensors will be performed by a factory trained technician, ensuring the equipment is installed correctly and configured to operate at optimal efficiency. This also includes support setting up the iCOM-S graphics and set points during the installation process, as well as BMS integration. The graphical display of the iCOM-S will also be configured based on the layout of the customers data center.
Annual Service
Included with the iCOM-S Service Bundle is an annual PM visit. During this visit, the iCOM-S and wireless gateway will receive an update to the latest version of the firmware. The network of wireless sensors will be checked to ensure all sensors are operational and transmitting data according to their setup. The technician will also support the customer with any changes that need to be made to the iCOM-S, or questions they have on the system.
Parts and Labor Warranty
Parts and labor warranties are available. These cover the iCOM-S Small Form Factor, the Wireless Gateway, and the Wireless Sensors.
