Getting your WiiM Ultra ready for action
Connect your WiiM Ultra to your stereo system via Line, SPDIF, USB, or Coax OUT, and then power the device with the included AC power cord.
- Volume – Turn to adjust the volume level.
- Play/Pause – A quick tap toggles between playing and pausing your music.
- Setup – Press and hold for at least 3 seconds to enter setup mode.
- Restore to Factory Settings – Keep pressing for 10 seconds or more.
Download the WiiM Home app
Open the WiiM Home app when you’re ready to get started. You’ll use it to set up and control your WiiM Ultra.
Connect to WiiM Home app
- Turn on Bluetooth in your mobile device’s settings.
- Back to the WiiM Home app, choose the device you found and tap Setup.
- Allow the location permission to discover the nearby network to set up the Wi-Fi network for the WiiM Ultra.
- If you use Ethernet connection, connect WiiM Ultra then go back to WiiM Home App to finish the device setup.
Configuring Output Settings on WiiM Ultra
By default, the WiiM Ultra uses the Line Out interface for audio output. To switch to digital optical (TOSLINK), USB, headphone, or coaxial outputs, please follow the instructions in the WiiM Home App to select your desired output. Ensure you make this adjustment to avoid any issues with sound output.
Fill your home with music
Stream your favorite tunes and radio stations to any audio device – be it an amplifier, AV receiver, or speaker. With multiple WiiM Ultra units, you can stream music throughout your entire home. Additionally, connect stereo components such as a turntable, computer, or TV to broadcast audio to multiple devices simultaneously.
Voice Remote
Enhance your WiiM experience with the WiiM Voice Remote. Enjoy effortless control over your WiiM Ultra without relying on your phone, keeping your favorite music and settings just a voice command away.
- Voice button – Simply press and hold to activate Alexa. Keep holding while you speak, and release when you’re done.
- Preset shortcuts – Personalize these buttons for quick actions via the WiiM Home App.
- Pairing Your WiiM Voice Remote
Press and hold the “Source” and “Mute” buttons simultaneously for two seconds, then go to the WiiM Home App and select the Device tab > Tap the gear icon for device settings > Add or Delete a WiiM Remote.
Use Phono Ground Adapter
Included is a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter for connecting to a phono ground.
Stream with Spotify Connect
Use your phone, tablet, or computer as a remote control for Spotify. Go to spotify.com/connect to learn how.
