Safety Instructions

• To ensure your safety and minimize the risk of personal injury or property damage, please observe and obey the following safety precautions.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. （according to IEC60335-1）

Please ensure that there is a sufficient amount of cold water inside the dispenser before use.
• Do not allow children to get close to or play with the cling wrap and packaging to avoid suffocation accidents.
• Do not drop the dispenser or knock it against hard objects to avoid causing damage or malfunction.
• Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not insert pins, wires, or other objects into any of the openings of the dispenser to avoid electric shocks or injury.
• Do not place the dispenser on unstable or wet surfaces. Keep it away over 30 cm from fire or heat sources (such as stoves).
• Do not fill the dispenser beyond the maximum water level mark, as it may cause boiling water to spill out, or cause the dispenser to malfunction due to water entering the temperature control components.
• During the heating process and when the water is boiling, do not open the lid or move the dispenser to avoid scalding.
• Do not use the electric water dispensing feature while the water is boiling. Hot water may splash out and cause scalds, or the pump may fail to function properly due to the air bubbles formed during the boiling process.
• When using the electric water dispensing feature, do not rotate the body of the dispenser to avoid hot water from splashing and causing scalds.
• Please ensure that the electrical outlet the dispenser is plugged into is well grounded to avoid an electrical shock or other safety hazards.
• Do not turn the dispenser upside down.

Connecting with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App

This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app*. Use the Mi Home/ Xiaomi Home app to control your device, and to interact with other smart home devices.

• Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already. Or search for “Mi Home/Xiaomi Home” in the app store to download and install it.
• Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap “+” on the upper right, and then follow the instructions to add your device.

The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except for Russia).  The name of the app displayed on your device should be taken as the default.

Note: The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the instructions based on the current app version.

Wi-Fi Connection

1. When powered on for the first time, when the dispenser is reset, or when the Wi-Fi is reset, the Wi-Fi icon will continuously blink to indicate it is waiting for a connection. If the dispenser is not connected to Wi-Fi within 20minutes, the Wi-Fi indicator will turn off.
2. When powered on again, if not connected to Wi-Fi, the dispenser will resume the last keep-warm temperature, cup volume setting and other parameters before powering off; if connected to Wi-Fi, the dispenser will synchronize the keep-warm temperature, cup volume setting and other parameters from the Xiaomi Home app.
3. Simultaneously pressing and holding the cup volume and keep warm buttons for two seconds will turn the Wi-Fi on or off. When powering on again, the dispenser will then automatically resume the Wi-Fi status (on or off) before powering off.

Wi-Fi Indicator Description

Note : If the dispenser doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi within 20 minutes, the Wi-Fi indicator will turn off.

First-time Use
When using the dispenser for the first time or after a long period of disuse, add 2-3 liters of water and boil it 1-2 times to clean the interior of the dispenser. After cleaning, empty the boiled water from the dispenser.

CAUTION: Do not make the dispenser boil dry. Do not power on and heat the water if the water volume in the dispenser is below the minimum level mark or if the dispenser is empty, to avoid causing malfunction and any potential safety hazards.

How to Use

After connecting the power cord, the display will light up. The dispenser will complete initialization after two seconds, and then it is ready for use.

1. Initial state

   • After connected to power and turned on, the dispenser will enter its initial state, and the display will show the current water temperature.

2. Water-boiling/keeping warm indications

   • Press the boil water button to start boiling water. Once the water boils, it will naturally cool setting th keepes room perature, if the set temperature is higher than the current water temperature, the dispenser will heat up the water to the keep-warm temperature and then maintain it. If the set temperature is lower than the current water temperature, the dispenser will maintain the temperature after the water cool down to the keep-warm temperature. the during the keep war protes, the water vi blan thes of voter to the preset keep-warm temperature.

3. Dispensing water

   • When the child lock is activated, press the child lock button to unlock, then press the water dispensing button to release water. Press the water dispensing button again to stop water dispensing.
   • If the water volume has been set, press the water dispensing button to dispense water. Water dispensing will automatically stop once the set cup volume has been reached. The flow of water can also be stopped by pressing the water dispensing button again while dispensing water.
   • Note: When the child lock is enabled, pressing the water dispensing button will not dispense water.
   • The child lock indicator will blink twice with a beeping prompt. Please unlock before dispensing water.

4. Dechlorination

   • Press and hold the water dispensing button to enable the dechlorination mode. In this mode, water is boiled for a longer period to effectively remove chlorine. During the dechlorination process, the dechlorination indicator will blink. Once dechlorination is completed, you will hear a long beep to indicate the process has finished. To disable the dechlorination mode, press and hold the boil water button again for two seconds.
     CAUTIONS:

   • If dechlorination is disabled while boiling water, only the dechlorination feature is disabled, while the water will continue to boil

   • If dechlorination is disabled during the dechlorination process, both dechlorination and water boiling are stopped.

   • If dechlorination is disabled in any other state, only the dechlorination feature is disabled.

   • Dechlorination memory: The dispenser automatically activates dechlorination the next time water is boiled.

5. Child lock

   • The child lock feature is automatically enabled when the dispenser is turned on. Once unlocked, if no action is taken within 30 seconds, the child lock will be reactivated.
   • To unlock and dispense water: Press the child lock button to unlock, then press the water dispensing button to dispense water.
   • To disable the child lock: Press and hold the child lock button for seven seconds to disable this feature. After the child lock is disabled, press the water dispensing button to dispense water.
   • To reactivate the child lock: If the dispenser is currently unlocked, press and hold the child lock button for seven seconds to reactivate the child lock feature.
   • The child lock feature can be enabled or disabled through the Xiaomi Home app.

6. Keeping warm

   • Keep-warm temperature adjustment range: 40°C to 90°C.
   • Press the keep warm button to cycle through the temperature settings for the Press and hour the he ap am it to cancel the eep warm seting.
   • If the keep-warm temperature is set to a higher temperature than the current water temperature during cooling or while in the keep-warm mode, the dispenser will automatically heat to the newly set temperature before entering the keep-warm mode.

7. Cup volume (one cup is approximately 200-300 mL)

   • Press the cup volume button to cycle through the cup volume settings. The display will show the current volume level as 1, 2, or 3.
   • Once the cup volume is set, disable the child lock and then press the water dispensing button to dispense water.
   • The cup volume cannot be set and adjusted while water is being dispensed; pressing the cup volume button will be inactive.

8. Power button

   • After connecting to a power source, press the power button to turn on the dispenser. The power button can be pressed in any state to turn off the dispenser.
   • Error codes
   • If the dispenser detects a fault or anomaly, the display will show an error code E1, E2, or E3, accompanied by three beeps indicating a fault. The dispenser will then stop operating. To resolve the issue, please refer to the Troubleshooting section in the manual.

9. Update status

   • After initiating a firmware update through the Xiaomi Home app, the display on the dispenser will show “UP”. The dispenser will temporarily cease to function, and all buttons will become inactive. Once the update is completed and the dispenser automatically restarts, it will resume normal operation.

Troubleshooting

Maintenance Tips

• Only professionally trained personnel, who have been certified to repair the dispenser, are authorized to perform repairs on the dispenser.Unauthorized individuals must not attempt to repair the dispenser, as this could lead to serious consequences.
• If you experience any issues with the dispenser, refer to the Troubleshooting section before contacting the after-sales service team.
• If the issue persists, unplug the power cord to disconnect the electricity and contact the after-sales service team.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The surface of the dispenser may be wiped down with a damp cloth.

• Dispenser body and lid:
  Unplug the dispenser, and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  CAUTIONS:
  Avoid rinsing the dispenser with water to prevent water from seeping in through the bottom and outlet, as this can saturate the internal electronic components and cause a malfunction of the dispenser. ® Do not use detergents to clean the interior of the dispenser as they may leave a residual odor. ® Avoid using gasoline or turpentine to wipe down the body of the dispenser, as these may damage the exterior surface of the dispenser.

• Inner container:
  Wipe down with a damp sponge. Avoid using scouring powders, scrub brushes or nylon brushes as they may damage the inner container.

• Remove limescale:

  • Cleaning with white vinegar: Add a suitable amount of white vinegar to the dispenser, let it sit for one hour without heating, then empty the dispenser and rinse it 5-6 times with water. Repeat the process if necessary.
  • Cleaning with citric acid: Boil appropriate amount of water in the dispenser, then add 25 g of citric acid and let it sit for 15 minutes, then empty the dispenser and rinse it 5-6 times with water. Repeat the process if necessary.

Cleaning Precautions

• After using the dispenser, promptly unplug the power cord. Do not place the dispenser near a heat source or submerge it in water. Do not place the power cord directly on the surface of the dispenser to prevent scratching the surface.
• Cleaning and maintenance should be performed only after the dispenser has cooled down.
• Avoid using any corrosive or abrasive cleaning materials or detergents.
• Do not clean or dry the dispenser in a dishwasher or dryer as this may cause deformation of the dispenser.

Note: Regular cleaning and maintenance of the dispenser will help to avoid reducing the service life of the dispenser.
