INTRODUCTION

CM-49 is a hand-held remote with 15 channels for operating and programming blinds at the push of a button. Blinds can be moved to any desired position or a preset favorite position. The wall mounting clip for this remote control is included by default.

Safety

WARNING: Important safety instructions. Follow all instructions, since incorrect installation can lead to severe injury.

  • Do not let children play with the blind and/or remote control.
  • Take care that the blind can move freely and is not blocked by any objects.
  • Do not paint the device.
  • Keep the device dry.
  • Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards.
  • Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard
  • This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Buttons/control

The center button has two functions: press to stop the blind, and hold to move the blind to its favorite position.

Changing the battery

The battery indicator will show when the battery needs to be replaced

Remote holder

Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material.

Pair a remote

Repeat steps 4.1 – 4.3 to remove a blind from a channel.

  1. Shortly press the program button on the motor. The blind will start stepping, indicating that the program mode has been activated. (The blind keeps stepping until the program mode is deactivated)
  2. Select a desired channel for the blind using the previous channel or next channel button on the remote control.
  3. Press the pair button on the back of the remote control to pair the blind with the selected channel. The blind will shortly stop stepping, indicating that the remote has been paired with the blind.

Channel selection makes it possible to copy blinds in between channels/remotes without having to physically press the program button on the motors.

  1. Select the channel you would like to copy.
  2. To activate channel selection, simultaneously hold the channel selection button and press the pair button.
  3. All blinds in the selected channel will start stepping, indicating program mode has been activated. All blinds can be copied to a new channel on the same remote or to other remotes. Select a channel on a (new) remote.
  4. Press the program button on the (new) remote to pair the blinds with the (new) remote.
  5. To exit channel select, choose the channel you selected at step 1 and repeat step 2

Hide channels
 Limit the number of accessible channels on the remote. Channels that are not used will be displayed.

  1. To hide channels, simultaneously hold the previous channel and next channel button. The screen will first display a C. Hold until the screen displays 15.
  2. Press the previous channel button until the display shows the desired amount of channels.
  3. Press the center button until the screen displays O
  4. To restore 15 channels, go back to step 6.1 and choose 15 channels at step 6.2 Save the amount of channels by pressing the centre button.
