Product Usage Instructions:

Placing the Device: Place the device on a firm
flat surface. -
Connecting Power Cord: Insert the power
adapter plug into the DC inlet on the back of the device and
connect the power cord to the power adapter. Plug the other end of
the power cord into the power outlet. -
Connecting Tubing: Connect the end of the
tubing to the air outlet of the device. If using heated tubing,
connect the heated tubing joint to the air outlet of the device and
insert the power plug into the heated tubing port on the back of
the device. Connect the other end of the tubing to the mask
according to the user manual for the mask. -
Filling Water Chamber: Press down the water
chamber, remove it, open the water chamber cap, fill with
approximately 360 ml of water, and then close the cap and return it
to the device. -
Inserting SD Card (if applicable): If you
received an SD card, insert it into the SD card slot. Newer devices
may not require an SD card. -
Starting Device: Connect the device to a power
outlet, press the Start/Stop button, and the device will start
delivering air. -
Fitting Mask: Fit your mask following the
manufacturer’s instructions. Use the Fitting Template for nasal
mask and full face mask if needed. -
Taking Breaths: Lie down, take four deep
breaths, and let the machine start automatically. If needed, press
the Start Therapy/Standby button. -
Checking for Air Leaks: Check for air leaks.
Small leaks are acceptable, but consult your User Guide if large
leaks occur. -
PAP Therapy: Put on your mask and attach the
tubing to the PAP machine to begin your therapy.
FAQ:
Q: Do I need to connect to WiFi for my Apria Sleep
Therapy device?
A: Your device has a wireless modem and will
transmit without connecting to WiFi. Unless you purchased a
wireless modem separately, you do not need to connect to WiFi.

8 Fit your mask. If your doctor prescribed a
specific mask and size, follow the fitting instructions provided by the
manufacturer. If you received a mask with multiple cushions, follow these
instructions:
There is a mask cushion currently attached to the frame of your mask. This
size fits most patients. Once you begin therapy, if your mask is leaking or
feels uncomfortable, try removing the existing cushion and replacing it with a
different size cushion. If you are between sizes, it is best to use the larger
cushion. Use the Fitting Template (for nasal mask and full face mask) and/or
the manufacturer’s instructions included with your mask for help.

11 Attach the tubing to your mask.
(If using prescribed oxygen, consult page 10 in your Apria Sleep Therapy User

12 Lie down and take four deep breaths.
The machine should start automatically. If you do not hear the machine start,
press the Start Therapy/Standby button. Relax and begin to take slow breaths
through your nose. See User Guide page 12

13 Check for air leaks.

9 Put on your mask.
