This device can be used by children aged 8 and over and people with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacity or a lack of experience and expertise, provided they are under supervision or have been
given instructions about safely using the device and are aware of the potential hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be done by children unless they are over the age of 8 and under supervision. -

USE
- Only use the device for its intended use.
- Improper use of the device could damage the product.
WARNING! The glass platform may be slippery when wet. Make sure the glass plate and your feet are dry before use. WARNING! People fitted with a pacemaker or other electronic implants should not use the device under any circumstances.
- The body fat measurements for people with diabetes or any other medical/physical condition or illness, or people who do a lot of sports may be inaccurate.
- Do not use the device during pregnancy.
- Do not jump or stomp on the device or stand on the edge of the device.
- Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable materials.
- This device is not a toy and should be kept under strict supervision to prevent children from using the device as a toy.
- Do not allow children to clean or maintain this device unsupervised.
- Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
- Children in the vicinity of the device must always be supervised by an adult.
- Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is damaged.
- Place the device on a flat and stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over or slip.
- It is advisable to place a suitable non-slip base between the device and the floor or table, to prevent damage to your floor or table.
- Make sure that only one person uses the device at a time.
- The maximum user weight is 180 kg.
- When in use and when stored, do not place anything else on top of the device.
- Avoid locations subject to vibrations, cold or humidity.
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
- Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
- Improper use of the device could damage the product.
- Please handle the device carefully. Impacts or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.
- Do not use the device if it has been dropped or does not operate normally.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shock. Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water, and do not use it again.
WARNING! Damaging the casing and/or piercing the device can lead to explosion or fire!
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
- The device must be serviced if it has been damaged in any way, i.e. it has been exposed to rain or moisture; it has been dropped or does not operate properly.
The device is made from tempered (safety) glass, handle with care to avoid breakage. When the glass plate is broken, stop using the device.
- Clean the device thoroughly after use (see “cleaning and maintenance”).
- Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
- Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.
- This device is intended for domestic purposes only, not for professional use.
- The warranty will expire immediately if damage has been caused by non-compliance with this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.
BATTERIES, ELECTRICITY & HEAT
- Make sure the battery compartment is closed securely.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Only use AAA alkaline batteries.
- Correctly insert the batteries into the battery compartment, respecting the polarity.
- To prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries from the device if it is not used for a long period of time.
- Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. Wear protective gloves when handling leaking batteries and dispose of the gloves after use. If the battery aks, do not allow any battery fluid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Rechargeable AAA batteries can be used in this device. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the device before being charged.
- Only charge rechargeable batteries with the charger that comes with these batteries and follow the instructions in the manufacturer’s manual.
- Rechargeable batteries should only be recharged under adult supervision.
- Non-rechargeable AAA batteries should not be recharged.
- Avoid mixing the batteries, i.e. new, used or different types.
- Do not short circuit the contacts inside the battery compartment or any batteries.
WARNING! Never damage rechargeable batteries. Damaging the casing of the device and/or piercing rechargeable batteries might lead to explosion or fire!
- Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the battery.
- Do not use, expose or store the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as naked flames.
- Do not dispose of the device in your household waste, as it contains batteries. Batteries can be disposed of by taking them to your local recycling station. Contact your local government offices for details.
INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the device is complete and undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations

FIRST USE
- Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film or plastic from the device.
- Before using the device for the first time, clean the base with a damp cloth.
- Thoroughly dry the device.
- Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these could damage the device.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
- Remove the battery cover (D) from the device by pushing it down.
- Insert the (2x) AAA batteries into the battery compartment, respecting the polarity.
- Close the battery cover (D) by positioning it back on the device and gently pushing it in place. You will hear a ‘click’, indicating that the battery cover is well secured.
CHANGING THE WEIGHT UNIT
The weight unit on the device can be set to kilograms (kg), pounds (lb) and stone (st lb). Select the desired weight unit (kg, lb, st lb) by pressing the unit selector (E). The selected weight unit will be visible on the LCD screen (B).
POWERING THE DEVICE
To power on the device, lightly step on the device (A) with one foot until the
LCD screen (B) lights up. Take off your foot and wait for 10 seconds, until
the LCD screen reads 0.0 kg. The device is now ready for use.
The device automatically powers off after ± 20 seconds of not being in use.
USING THE DEVICE
WARNING! The device’s glass plate may be slippery when wet. Make sure the glass plate and feet are dry before use.
- Note! To ensure accurate operation, it is advised to take measurements at the same time of day under the same circumstances.
- Place the device (A) on a flat and stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over or slip.
- Power on the device by lightly stepping on the device until the LCD screen (B) lights up. Wait for 10 seconds, until the LCD screen reads 0.0 kg.
- Step on the device with bare feet and ensure you are standing still with your weight equally divided and both feet distributed on the electrodes (C).
- Keep your body still and erect until the device stabilises your weight.
- The numbers on the LCD screen (B) will flash three times, indicating correct measuring.
CONTROLLING YOUR DEVICE BY MEANS OF THE SMART APP
To control your device by means of your smartphone or tablet, download the “Fitdays” app which is available for Android and IOS. You can download the app from the app store of your device (Play Store or Apple Store). You can also scan the QR code below, which will guide you to the Fitdays app of your app store.
INSTALLING THE FITDAYS APP
- Download and install the “Fitdays” app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Open the “Fitdays” app.
- It is required to create a user account, so you can store your personal user settings.
CONNECTING THE DEVICE WITH THE FITDAYS APP
- Make sure the BT function is enabled in your smartphone or tablet and that it is connected with the internet.
- Keep the device and your BT enabled appliance within 1 metre (3 ft) of each other.
- Launch the “Fitdays” app, press ”+” and select “my device”.
- Select “My scale” and go to “Measure”.
- Power ON the device and it will automatically connect with the Fitdays app.
- Once the device has been successfully connected, fill in your personal parameters and you can operate the device using the Fitdays app.
Note! Body fat – body water percentage – muscle mass measurements are for
reference.
Note! Consult a doctor when you undertake a diet or exercise program.
Note! The device will only transfer the data to the app whenever the app is
active.
USING THE APP
This device allows you to operate the following functions via the app:
- Measure your weight, body fat, body water percentage, muscle mass, bone mass & BMI
- Measure your heart rate
- Set reference data
- Generate and view your data in charts
- Set targets
- Share progress
- Add users (such as family members)
- Add another device
- Settings
TROUBLESHOOTING
“The LCD screen does not light up.”
- Make sure the device is turned ON.
- Change the batteries.
- “The LCD screen says: Lo.”
- Change the batteries.
- “The LCD screen says: Err.”
- The device is overloaded. Step off the device and wait for the LCD screen to read 0.0 kg.
- “My BT enabled appliance is not able to pair with the device.”
- Make sure the device is turned ON before beginning the BT pairing process.
- Keep the device and your BT enabled appliance within 1 metre (3 ft) of each other during the BT pairing process.
- Make sure the BT function on your BT enabled appliance is activated.
- “The data of the device is not paired with the app.”
- Make sure you have the app opened during weighing and measuring.
- Make sure the device is turned ON before beginning the BT pairing process.
- Keep the device and your BT enabled appliance within 1 metre (3 ft) of each other during the BT pairing process.
- Make sure the BT function on your BT enabled appliance is activated.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean the device regularly.
- Make sure the device is powered OFF.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
- Clean device with a damp cloth. In case of stain marks, glass cleaner can be used on the glass plate.
- Do not use very hot or cold water on the glass plate.
- Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these damage the device and will scratch and damage the surface of the device.
- Thoroughly dry the device.
- Store the device in a dry place.

STORAGE & TRANSPORTATION

Your product has been manufactured using high quality materials and components which can be recycled and used again. At the end of its service life, this product cannot be disposed of in normal
