INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This infrared thermometer is specialized in measuring the temperature of the human body by aiming at the forehead area. The temperature will be shown at the LCD display. Please note that this thermometer does not replace the doctor’s diagnosis/advice.
Features
Non-contact and high-precision body thermometer.
The temperature can be displayed in °C or °F. Press the “°C/°F ” button for 8
seconds to switch.
An alert value can be set. The default value is set at 38°.
When measuring temperatures above the alert value, the thermometer will give a
“buzzer” sound.
The LCD display has a backlight for clear readings in the dark. Press the
“Backlight” button once to turn on the backlight. Press and hold the button
for 8 seconds to turn the backlight off.
Up to 32 measurements can be stored in the memory log. Press the up and down
buttons to view stored measurements.
The thermometer automatically saves measurements
Notes before use
Make sure to do a test measure before measuring the temperature of yourself or another person. Aim the thermometer at the area of the forehead and press the “measuring” button. A confirmation sound will be heard, indicating that the test has been completed. The measured temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.

OPERATING THE TEMPERATURE GUN
Measuring body temperature
Aim the thermometer at the area around the forehead above the eyebrows. Hold the thermometer at about 5-10 cm and press the “measure” button to measure the body temperature. The measured temperature is shown on the LCD display and will automatically be stored in the memory log. Measures can be saved up to 32 times in the memory log.
Battery instructions
The battery cover is indicated by an arrow at the bottom of the thermometer handle. Push the cover lightly towards the direction the arrow is pointing to, to open the cover. You can now insert the batteries.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries
- Do not expose the product to water
- Keep the product away from heating sources.
CLEANING
Clean the product with a dry cloth. Do not use any (chemical) liquids or oil!
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
LCD cannot display numerical values.
If the measured temperature is lower than 32°C or higher than 42.9°C, the LCD will display “LO” or “HI”.
