  • Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is damaged.
  • This device is not a toy and should be kept under strict supervision to prevent children from using the device as a toy.
  • Do not allow children to clean or maintain this device.
  • Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
  • Children and pets in the vicinity of the device must always be supervised by an adult.

  • Do not use the device if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
  • Always use the handles when operating the device. attaching the battery pack or moving the device.
  • Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
  • Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.
  • Do not use or store the device in an environment subject to strong static electricity or magnetic fields.
  • Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable gasses and materials, i.e. insecticides, fragrances, lit cigarettes. This may cause electric shock, burns, fire or damage.
  • Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as naked flames (hobs, for example).
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
  • Only operate the device in daylight or with good artificial lighting.
  • Do not overreach, keep proper footing and balance at all times and never run while using the device.
  • Always be alert when using the device so that you can recognize and handle risks early. Fast intervention can prevent serious injury and damage to property.
  • Do not lean on the device.
  • The warranty will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result of not observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.

ELECTRICITY, BATTERIES AND HEAT

  • Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device or the battery pack.
  • Make sure that the device and battery pack do not come into contact with heat sources, such as hot hobs or naked flames.
  • Check the battery pack regularly for damage.
  • Never use the device if the battery pack shows signs of damage, if the device has fallen on the ground or shows any other signs of damage.
  • Switch OFF the device and remove the battery pack if you discover any faults during use, find any signs of damage, are not using the device or are cleaning it.
  • Remove the battery pack from the device before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the device.
  • Only use the Wolfgang battery pack intended specifically for the device.
  • Only use the Wolfgang battery pack with the voltage listed on the nameplate of your product.
  • To reduce or prevent the risk of personal injury, electrical shock, fire or damage to the device, never insert metal objects in any opening of the charging port or any other openings or ports.
  • Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the battery pack.

WARNING! Damaging the casing and/or piercing the device, can lead to explosion or fire!
WARNING! Never expose the device to moisture. Do not use the device during rain, lighting storms, snow or when it can come in contact with any kind of moisture.
WARNING! To avoid the risk of electric shocks, never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. And do not use it again if this happens.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, protect the device from dripping or splashing water and keep it away from objects filled with liquids, such as vases. Such objects should not be placed on or near the device.

  • Do not use the device in temperatures that fall below 5 °C or exceed 40 °C.
  • Battery cells can leak under extreme conditions. Wear protective gloves when handling leaking batteries and dispose of the gloves after use. If the battery leaks, do not allow any battery fluid to come into contact with your skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the a ected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.

FIRST USE

  • Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film or plasticfrom the device.
  • Before using the device for the first time, clean it with a damp cloth.
  • Thoroughly dry the device.
  • Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these could damage the device.

ATTACHING THE BLADE

  • Place the wider opening of the cutting blades (13) over the metal studs on the bottom of the device.
  • Firmly pull until the smaller opening of the cutting blades(13) is securely around the metal studs.

ATTACHING THE GUARD

Note! The guard must ALWAYS be fitted while operating the device

  • Place the guard (12) with the groove on the bottom of the device and gently push it in, making sure the openings of both the device and guard are aligned.
  • Place the screw (14) through the openings and screw it tight with a screwdriver.

ATTACHING THE SHAFT

  • Place the upper shaft (7) over the opening of the lower shaft (11) and insert.
  • Secure both shafts in place by tightening the attachment wheel(10).
  • ADJUSTING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE

The auxiliary handle is adjustable in different heights and angles.

  • Loosen the lock nut (8) on the side of the auxiliary handle (9).
  • Rotate and/or slide the auxiliary handle in the
  • desired position. Tighten the lock nut (8) securely.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY

  • To install the battery pack (6), slide it into the battery slot (5) until it latches into place with a ‘click’. Check that the battery pack is securely locked into place.
  • To remove the battery pack (6), press and hold the button at the back of the battery pack and slide the battery pack away from the battery slot(5).

POWERING THE DEVICE
Before operating the device, be sure the guard is installed.

  • To power ON the device, slide the safety switch (4) either left or right, hold it in place and press the power button (3). You can let go of the safety switch when the device is powered on.
  • To power OFF the device, let go of the power button (3).

Note! The cutting blades (13) will keep turning for a few seconds when the device is powered off. Be careful.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the device regularly.
  • Switch the device off, make sure the cutting blades (13) stopped turning and remove the battery pack from the device.
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the device with a dry cloth, use a brush for areas that are hard to reach. If the device is extremely dirty, clean with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
  • Check the air inlet and outlet of the device for dust and dirt. Remove dust and dirt carefully by vacuuming (vacuum cleaner).
  • Clean the cutting blades (13) and guard (12) after every use. Replace the cutting blades (13) when the performance of the device drops.
  • Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge
  • or steel wool; these damage the device and will scratch and damage the surface of the device.
  • Thoroughly dry the device.
  • Store the device in a dry place
