Product Usage Instructions

  1. Open the packaging carefully and ensure that all components are present and undamaged.
  2. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product.
  3. Clean the device using a damp cloth to remove any production residues. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.
  4. Mounting the Device:
    • Use the wall mounting brackets (5) to securely mount the mirror on the wall.
    • Ensure that the power cord (6) is properly connected to a power source.
    • Use the provided screws (7) and expanding plugs (8) to fix the device in place.
  5. Using the Defog Function:
    • To activate the defog mode, press the defog button (2). The button will light up white.
    • To deactivate the defog mode, press the defog button (2) again. The button will light up blue.
  6. Using the LED Lights:
    • Press the light button (3) to turn on the LED lights.
    • Do not stare at the illuminated LEDs for an extended period of time to avoid eye injury or irritation.
    • Avoid using optical instruments that focus on light rays to directly look at the light source.

Note: Handle the device with care to avoid breakage. If the mirror is broken, stop using the device immediately.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always take the following precautions into consideration before using the “Bathroom Mirror with LED & Defog Function” hereinafter referred to as the ‘device’.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Read the instructions for use carefully and keep them safe. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on this manual.
  • Only use this device in accordance with the instructions in this user manual.
  • This device can be used by children aged 8 and over and people with restricted physical, sensory, or mental capacity or a lack of experience and expertise, provided they are under supervision or have been given instructions about safely using the device and are aware of the potential hazards.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Cleaning and maintenance must not be done by children unless they are over the age of 8 and under supervision.
  • Keep the device and power cord out of the reach of children below the age of 8 years.
  • This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for professional use.

WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing material for children. Risk of suffocation!
WARNING! Danger because small parts may be swallowed. The device contains small parts that could be swallowed. Keep these parts away from children under the age of 36 months.

ELECTRICITY AND HEAT

  • Prior to use, check that the mains voltage is the same as the mains voltage stated on the nameplate of the device.
  • Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device, power cord, or plug.
  • Plug the power plug into an electrical outlet that is easily accessible at all times.

WARNING! Never cover the power plug, cable, electric base, or a device with cloths, curtains, or any other material as this may cause electric shock, overheating, fire or damage to the device.

  • Make sure that the device and power cable do not come into contact with heat sources, like a hot hob or naked flame.
  • Check the power cord regularly for damage.
  • Never use the device if the power cord shows signs of damage or if the device has fallen on the ground or shows any other signs of damage.
  • Switch OFF the device and remove the power plug if you discover any faults during use, find any signs of damage, are not using the device, or are cleaning it.
  • Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.
  • When plugging in the power plug, make sure people cannot accidentally pull it out or trip over it.
  • Remove the power plug from the power socket during lightning storms or if unused for long periods of time.
  • When removing the plug from the power socket, pull the plug itself, not the cable.
  • Do not operate the device using an external time switch or a separate remote control system.
  • The use of an extension cord is not recommended.

USE

  • Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable materials.
  • Do not leave the device unattended when it is in use.
  • This device is not a toy and should be kept under strict supervision to prevent children from using the device as a toy.
  • Do not allow children to clean or maintain this device unsupervised.
  • Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
  • Children and pets in the vicinity of the device must always be supervised by an adult.
  • Do not lean on the device.
  • Never move the device when it is switched ON or still warm. First switch OFF the device and only move it when it has cooled down.
  • Regularly clean the device thoroughly (see “cleaning and maintenance”).
  • When in use and when stored, do not place anything else on top of the device.
  • Do not place the device in contact with and/or on or near combustible materials.
  • Avoid locations subject to vibrations, cold or humidity.
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
  • Only use the device indoors and not in the vicinity of water or any other liquids.
  • Do not use the device if it, the cable or the power plug has fallen into the water or any kind of fluid.
  • Never immerse the device, cable and power plug in water or any kind of fluid.
  • Do not pick up the device if it has fallen into water or any kind of fluid.
  • Remove the plug from the power socket immediately. Do not use the device again.
  • Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
  • Improper use of the device could damage the product.
  • Please handle the device carefully. Impacts or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.
  • Do not open the casing as this may result in electric shock.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
  • The device must be serviced if it has been damaged in any way, i.e. the power supply cord/plug is damaged; liquid has been spilled; objects have fallen into it; it has been exposed to rain or moisture; it has been dropped or does not operate properly.
  • WARNING! Handle with care to avoid breakage. When the mirror is broken, stop using the device.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
  • Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.
  • This device is intended for domestic purposes only, not for professional use.
  • The warranty will expire immediately if damage has been caused by non-compliance with this user manual
  • The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.
  • The LEDs cannot be replaced.

WARNING! Do not stare at the device’s illuminated LEDs for an extended period of time. The LEDs can cause injury or irritation to the eyes. Do not look directly at the light source using optical instruments that focus on light rays.

FIRST USE

  • Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film, or plastic from the device.
  • Before using the device for the first time, clean it with a damp cloth.
  • Thoroughly dry the device.
  • Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge, or steel wool; these could damage the device.

WALL MOUNTING

Installation must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Incorrect assembly can result in severe personal injury and damage. If you intend to install this device yourself, you must check for installations such as electrical wiring and plumbing that may be buried inside the wall. The installer is responsible for verifying that the wall will safely support the total load of the device and wall brackets. Additional tools (not included) are required for installation.
Do not over-tighten screws. Use an electronic stud finder to check the wall before drilling and mounting. Ensure the wall can bear the weight of the device. The device must be fixed to a wall by using the wall mounting brackets (5).

  • Mark out where the device should be installed on the wall. Make sure the openings are leveled and aligned.
  • Drill holes into the wall, insert the expanding plugs (8), and fix the set of screws (7).
  • Mount the device by sliding the wall mounting brackets (5) onto the screws (7).

Connecting to the mains power

  • Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet that is easily accessible at all times.
  • Once connected to the mains power, the defog (2) and light button (3) will light up blue and the device will be in standby mode.
  • To completely power off the device, remove the power plug from the main power.

Using the device

LED lights

  • To turn on the LED lights of the device, press the light button (3) which lights up white.
  • To adjust the brightness, press and hold the light button (3). The device is equipped with a brightness memory function, when powered on again will light up in the last set of brightness.
  • To turn off the LED lights of the device, press the light button (3) which lights up blue.

Defog
The device is equipped with a defog system. To activate the defog mode, press the defog button (2) which lights up white. To deactivate the defog mode, press the defog button (2) which lights up blue.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the device regularly.
  • Remove the plug from the mains power and allow the device to cool down fully (± 5 minutes).
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the power cable and device with a damp cloth.
  • Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge, or steel wool; this damage the device and will scratch and damage the surface of the device.
  • Thoroughly dry the power cable and device.
  • Store the device in a dry place.
