Operating Instructions

Sort and load laundry, then close the lid.
Touch the Power button to turn on the washer.
Select the desired cycle for your load.
Select additional options.
Touch and hold Start/Pause to begin the cycle.
Adjust cycle setting if desired.

Choosing the Right Cycle
Note: Normal cycle with Warm water is recommended for cottons, linens, and mixed garment loads. Load items evenly around the basket wall and do not lay items lengthwise for best performance.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I wash water-resistant clothing in this washer?
A: It is not recommended to wash water-resistant or water-repellent type clothing in the washer to avoid an abnormal vibrating and out-of-balance condition.
Q: What should I do if the washer detects an out-of-balance condition?
A: If the washer pauses due to an out-of-balance condition, wait for it to resolve the issue. The Sense and Rinse/Spin status indicators may briefly illuminate during this time.

Fire Hazard

Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids.
No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

WARNING: Do not wash water-resistant or water repellent type clothing. Failure to closely follow these instructions may result in an abnormal vibrating and out-of-balance condition that could result in physical injury, property damage and/or appliance damage.

Add HE Detergent into the basket & Laundry Products into the Dispenser. Maytag suggests using the Downy Ball® dispenser.

Touch Power to Turn On the Washer.
Select the Desired Cycle for your Load.
Adjust Cycle Setting, if desired.
- NOTE: Not all cycles, settings or options are available with all models.
- NOTE: If the washer detects an out-of-balance condition it may pause and attempt and resolve the issue. During this time the Sense and Rinse / Spin status indicators will both briefly illuminate.
Select Additional Options.
Touch and Hold Start/Pause to Begin Cycle.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CYCLE

NOTE : Normal cycle with Warm water is recommended for cottons, linens and mixed garment loads.

LOADING RECOMMENDATIONS

For best performance, load items by dropping them in loose heaps evenly around the basket wall. Do not lay items lengthwise.
