Product Usage Instructions

Installation
The following diagram shows the installation of the scanner.

Auto-tuning

  1. Press and hold the Tune Button for about 5 seconds until 2 beeps.
  2. Aim at the desired barcode. Release the Tune Button to start Auto-tuning. The scanner will beep continuously in the process.
  3. LED status indicates Auto-tuning result (Error or Good). If the result is Good, the settings will be stored permanently even after a power cycle. If the result is an Error, press the Tune Button once again for re-tuning.

Troubleshooting
If the scanner does not work properly:

  1. Check if the cable is connected firmly and is supplied by the original manufacturer.
  2. Check if the symbology (barcode type) is enabled.
  3. Check if the barcode quality is good.
  4. If the scanner still does not work properly, please contact your local distributor.

  • Q: How do I know if the Auto-tuning was successful?
    A: The LED status will indicate the Auto-tuning result. If it shows “Good,” the settings will be stored permanently. If it shows “Error,” you can re-tune by pressing the Tune Button again.
