Product Usage Instructions
Charging Recommendations
It is recommended to charge the rechargeable batteries if they
have been stored for more than 3 months. The charge time may vary
based on the specific model of the instrument.
Battery Models and Compatibility
The product uses NiMH and Li-Ion rechargeable batteries of
different voltages and capacities depending on the instrument
model. Make sure to refer to the specific battery model and charge
time for your instrument.
Battery Performance and Maintenance
The NiMH batteries offer high battery life, fast recharge, small
memory effect, and have a small ecological impact. After long-term
storage, a fully discharged battery may require several hours to
fully charge. It is recommended to perform at least 5 full charge
cycles to regain 95% capacity.
Battery Replacement and Disposal
Refer to the instrument user manual for instructions on how to
replace the battery. Used batteries should not be discarded with
regular trash and must be taken to a qualified recycling or
hazardous materials facility for proper disposal.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE FIRST USE
This instrument is powered by one or more NiMH batteries. These batteries
provide: High battery life for limited size and weight. Fast recharge. Small
memory effect (battery can be recharged even if not fully discharged). Small
ecologic impact (no polluting materials such as lead or cadmium).
After long-term storage, an NiMH battery may be completely discharged. In this
case, the battery must be fully charged. A single full charge can require
several hours. During this time the instrument may not operate at times. It
can take at least 5 full charge cycles before the battery regains 95 %
capacity.
To ensure maximum battery life: Only use the charger (or an identical model)
supplied with the product. Using another charger can be dangerous. Perform
charging only between (0 and 40) °C (32 to 104) °F. Follow all instructions
concerning usage and storage described in the instrument user manual.
The number of times the battery can be fully charged depends on the conditions
of use and charging conditions.
Refer to the instrument user manual for battery replacement instructions.
Do not discard batteries with trash. Used batteries must be taken to a
qualified recycling or hazardous materials facility.

materiales peligrosos
