INSTRUCTIONS STEEL WAREHOUSE LADDER
WARNING
1. Warning, fall from the ladder.
2. Refer to instruction manual/booklet
This warning sign shall appear on each marking on the ladder at the first place.
3. Inspect the ladder after delivery. Before every use visually check the
ladder is not damaged and is safe to use.
Do not use a damaged ladder.

12. Do not carry equipment which is heavy or difficult to handle while using a ladder.
13. Do not wear unsuitable footwear when climbing a ladder.
14. Do not use the ladder if you are not fit enough. Certain medical conditions or medication, alcohol or drug abuse could make ladder use unsafe.
15. Do not use the ladder as a bridge.
16. Warning, electricity hazard
Identify any electrical risks in the work area, such as overhead lines or
other exposed electrical equipment and do not use the ladder where electrical
risks occur.
17. Do not step off the side of the mobile platform ladder onto another surface.
18. Do not spend long periods on a ladder without regular breaks (tiredness is a risk).

19. Prevent damage of the ladder when transporting e.g. by fastening and,
ensure they are suitably placed to prevent damage.
20. Ensure the ladder is suitable for the task.
21. Do not use the ladder if contaminated, e.g. with wet paint, mud, oil or
snow.
22. Do not use the ladder outside in adverse weather conditions, such as
strong wind .
23. For professional use a risk assessment shall be carried out respecting
the legislation in the country of use.
24. When positioning the ladder take into account risk of collision with the
ladder e.g. from pedestrians, vehicles or doors. Secure doors (not fire exits)
and windows where possible in the work area.
PROPER SELECTION
1. Steel warehouse ladders are capable of supporting up to 150kg, combined
weight of user and materials. Ladders are designed for one person only. Do not
overload.
2. Select ladder of proper size to safely reach desired height.
INSPECTION BEFORE EACH USE
1. Inspect thoroughly for missing or damaged components, Never use a damaged
ladder and never make temporary repairs.
2. Inspect thoroughly for loose fasteners. Make sure all working parts are in
good working order (lubricate if necessary), Make sure locking device
functions properly and all casters operate freely. Replace worn or missing
rubber feet and casters.
3. Clean ladder of all foreign material (wet paint, mud, snow, grease, oil
etc.) 4. Destroy ladder if damaged, worn, or deteriorated in any way.
CONSIDER BEFORE EACH USE
1. Metal ladders conduct electricity. Keep away from electrical circuits. 2.
Use ladder only as confined in instructions. Use on firm level surface. 3.
Handrails are required on 4 steps ladders and larger. 4. Do not use if in poor
health, if taking draus or alcoholic beverages, or if physically
handicapped. 5. Wear slip-resistant shoes. Keep shoes clean. Do not wear shoes
with leather soles or
high heels. 6. Never leave ladder set up and unattended. 7. Pay close
attention to what you are doing.
PROPER SET UP AND USE
1. Assembly ladder following directions on separate instruction. 2. Move the
ladder to the position for access to materials.
Keep barycenter of user and materials between handrails. Do not over reach
handrails in any way that causes casters to go off the floor. Climb down and
move ladder as needed. 3. On model with spring loaded casters. Step on bottom
pedal to fall slip-resistant feet to

the ground. 4. Before using the ladder with a locking device, Step on bottom
pedal to lock ladder in
place. 5. Face to ladder when climbing up or down, unless apex to forward
facing descent, if
equipped with handrails, Use them while climbing. 6. Do not climb on anything
other than perforated steps. 8. To move ladder again.
On models with locking device, step on pedal located under bottom step to
place ladder in rolling position.
PROPER CARE AND STORAGE
1. Never store materials on ladder. 2. Never drop or apply an impact load to
ladder. 3. Ladder can be disassembled for transport and storage.
