STEP 3: Once the handle is pushed into the floor cleaner main unit, use the screw provided to secure the handle into the appliance.
WARNING: When assembling the floor cleaner, make sure that the power supply cord is not trapped in-between the handle and main unit.
Charging the Hard Floor Cleaner
Before first use, the floor cleaner must be charged for approx. 4 hours.
Subsequent charging times will vary dependent upon use. If the battery becomes exhausted during use, it may take up to 3.5 hours to fully recharge it.
STEP 1: Make sure that the floor cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains power supply. Empty the clean water/detergent tank and the dirty water tank and check that the floor cleaner is cool, clean, and dry.
STEP 2: Connect the mains power adaptor to the charging port on the main unit and then plug it in to the mains power supply.
STEP 3: The indicator light will flash blue when the floor cleaner is charging and, once fully charged, it will illuminate solid blue.
NOTE: Whilst charging, the floor cleaner may become warm.
Filling the Clean Water/Detergent Tank
STEP 1: Remove the clean water/detergent tank by pressing the clean water/detergent tank release button.
STEP 2: Open the clean water/detergent tank cap and fill with water or dilute detergent using manufacturer’s guidelines, checking that the max. fill mark is not exceeded.
STEP 3: Check the clean water/detergent tank cap is secured and then push back into the main unit.
NOTE: Check that the clean water/detergent tank is inserted fully into the floor cleaner.
The clean water/detergent tank can only be inserted into the detergent bottle holder facing in one direction.
CAUTION: Do not to attempt to replace the clean water/detergent tank whilst the floor cleaner is turned on.
Do not press the spray trigger if the clean water/detergent tank is empty.
WARNING: Do not add disinfectant to the detergent tank as this will damage the appliance.

Using the Hard Floor Cleaner

STEP 1: Vacuum or sweep the area to be cleaned; the floor cleaner is not designed to pick up larger debris.
STEP 2: Make sure the floor cleaner is unplugged from the power adaptor and then fill the clean water/detergent tank following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Filling the Clean Water/Detergent Tank’.
STEP 3: Turn on the floor cleaner by pressing the power button once. Press the button again to increase the speed of the floor brush. The light will turn blue on the low setting and flash blue on the higher setting.
STEP 4: Lightly step on the back of the floor cleaner head to disengage the head lock, pull the handle backwards and angle the floor cleaner as desired.
STEP 5: To begin cleaning, move the floor cleaner backwards and forwards over the desired area 3–4 times whilst holding in the water/detergent trigger. This will wet the floor and aid in cleaning.
STEP 6: Release the water/detergent trigger and move the floor cleaner over the desired area to suck up any remaining liquid.
STEP 7: Once finished, turn off the floor cleaner by pressing the power button.
NOTE: Always check with the floor manufacturer or distributor before using the chosen cleaning solution. The floor cleaner is only suitable for sealed hard floors, not carpets.
CAUTION: The floor may be slippery once the floor cleaner has been used and the floor is wet.
Do not allow the dirty water to exceed the max. fill mark on the dirty water tank, this will cause the suction to stop and leave dirty water on the floor.
Do not press the water/detergent trigger when drying floors or picking up wet spills, as this will release water from the clean water/detergent tank.
Emptying the Dirty Water Tank
STEP 1: Switch off and unplug the floor cleaner from the mains power supply.
STEP 2: Pull the dirty water tank release catch and remove the dirty water tank from the floor cleaner main unit.
STEP 3: Open the dirty water tank lid release clips and empty the dirty water down the drain.
STEP 4: Rinse the dirty water tank under clean running water, replace the lid and close the clips. Push the dirty water tank back into the main unit of the floor cleaner.
NOTE: Make sure that the max. fill mark on the dirty water tank is not exceeded.
The dirty water tank will require more frequent emptying than the clean water tank.
Make sure the floor cleaner is upright before removing the dirty water tank.
Cleaning the Roller Bar
STEP 1: Open the roller bar cover and pull the release tab to remove the roller bar.
STEP 2: Take out the roller bar and wash thoroughly with warm soapy water.
STEP 3: Push the left-hand side of the roller bar into lock hole A, being careful to align the right-hand side with lock hole B. The release tab should slot neatly into place.
STEP 4: Attached the roller bar cover by pressing down until it clicks securely into place.
Max. Fill Safety Float
If the liquid in the dirty water tank exceeds the max. fill mark the safety float in the dirty water tank will stop the suction of the floor cleaner. This will cause the motor to work at a higher speed, which will be audible and cause the floor cleaner to stop vacuuming. At this point, the floor cleaner should be switched off and the dirty water tank emptied following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Emptying the Dirty Water Tank.’
Auto Cut-Off
If there is too much friction on the roller bar, or there is an abnormal object caught in the roller bar, the unit will cut off. If this occurs, turn off the unit and remove any blockage and make sure the product is being used on a suitable floor. After l minute, the product will be ready to use again.
Storage
Empty the clean water/detergent tank and the dirty water tank.
Check that the floor cleaner is clean and dry before storing in a cool, dry place.
