Product Usage Instructions

Insert the Probes:

The device will scan the sockets when powered on. Insert the probes into the food ensuring the tip is at the center for accurate temperature readings.

Download the APP:

Search for “Smart Life” in App Store or Android app stores, or scan the QR code provided. Download and install the app ensuring compatibility with your phone.

Put in the Battery:

Open the battery cover, insert 2 AA batteries following the icons on the unit, and then close the battery cover securely.

Power ON/OFF:

To power on, press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds. Press the same button to power off. The device powers off automatically when the probe is removed.

Pair with Your Phone:

Switch on the device, ensure Bluetooth on your phone is on. Launch the app, press the Pairing/Stop Alarm Button on the device to pair successfully. Follow app instructions for activation.

Enjoy Your Barbecue Time:

Select food and preferences in the app. The device will display current and target temperature. An alarm will alert when the food is ready.

• Q: How do I change devices for pairing?
  • A: Delete previous pairings on the app and then pair the new device following the pairing instructions.

  • A: Yes, you can set customized alarm temperatures and preferences for meat and flavors in the app.

Put in the Battery

2 AA batteries are needed for this device. Make sure they are put in the right direction by following the icons on the unit.

• Press and slide the battery cover to open.
• Put in batteries, noticing the icons that show directions.
• Put back the battery cover.

Insert the probes

The device will keep scanning the sockets when its power is switched on, When the sensor is inserted, the LCD will display the temperature value at the corresponding position. Then insert the probes into the food, make sure the tip of the probe is at the center of the food to get accurate temperature.

Make sure your phone meets the requirements:

Power ON/OFF

Press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds when it is in OFF mode.It will be powered on and the LCD display will show “ON” with a beep sound, If you do the same when the device is in ON mode, it will be powered off. When the probe is not inserted into the device, it will powered off automatically.
Pair with your phone Switch on your device and keep the Bluetooth switch of your phone on. Launch the app and follow the instructions in the app to pair and activate the device:

• Press the Pairing/Stop Alarm Button(in the top of the device).
• Connected successfully.
• Once paired the device with your phone successfully, you don’t need to do the above steps again, unless you change to other phones.

NOTES:

The product automatically configures Bluetooth upon startup and prioritizes connecting to the last memory device.If you want to change devices, it’s best to delete them on the app and then pair them again. Bluetooth reset and connection through APP operation

Enjoy your barbecue time

Choose food and preference for the food where the probe is inserted the app and the device will display its current and target temperature. When the food is ready, the app and device will alarm.

The user interface of the app may be changed when upgraded. Please follow the instructions in the app.
