Introduction

  • The following instructions will be printed on a marking label or user manual of the gift box or included product or similar means in English and French:
  • The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
  • Button battery replacement steps:
  • First press the battery compartment clip to remove the rear cover, then use a screwdriver to unscrew two metal screws on the middle partition and open the middle partition to replace the battery.

Turn on PlugBug

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, and the device will beep and turn on. Double-press the button, A chime will sound.
Note: To turn off, double-click the device first, then quickly press the button 5 times within 2 seconds, a long beep will sound.

Using Apple Find My

  • Please reference the PlugBug Find My Setup guide

Reset PlugBug

  • After successfully removing the PlugBug from the Find My app, quickly press the button twice. A chime will sound. then, Press and hold the button for about 5 seconds after the second confirmation chime sound, Press and Hold again for another 3 seconds until you hear a prompt sound to reset the device.
  • The PlugBug is now reset and ready to be paired with a new Apple ID.

To comply with the published safety standards, the following must be observed when using this adaptor.

  1. For information technology equipment and office equipment use only.

  2. Do not use if the outer enclosure or plug is damaged.

  3. Do not exceed the manufacturer’s specifications when in use.

  5. Ensure the charger is connected to a compatible power source and the voltage matches the device’s requirements.

  12. This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the power supply by a person responsible for their safety.

  13. Maximum ambient temperature: 25°C / 77° F.

  14. The main plug is used as the disconnect device. The disconnect device shall be readily operable.

  15. Before charging, ensure there are no foreign objects, such as metal objects or liquids, obstructing the charger’s ports. Inserting foreign objects may damage the charger or connected devices.

  16. Do not expose the charger to flammable or harsh chemicals or vapors.

  17. Do not use the charger when either you, the vehicle or the charger is exposed to severe rain, snow, electrical storm or other inclement weather.

  18. When transporting the charger, handle it with care to prevent damage to any of its components. Do not subject the charger to strong force or impact. Do not twist, tangle, drag or step on the charger or any of its components.

  19. Protect the charger from moisture, water, and foreign objects at all times. If any exist or appear to have corroded or damaged the charger, do not use the charger.

  20. Do not use this device with an extension cord or an adapter.

  21. Ensure that the charger’s charging cable does not obstruct pedestrians or other objects.

  22. Connected only to a properly grounded outlet.
