8 FAQS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Some common user questions are itemized here below. If these suggested solutions do not solve any problem you may have encountered, please refer to www.maytronics.com or contact Maytronics Customer Support.
Q: What kind of pool is suitable? A: It is recommended to use the cleaner for pools Up to 12 m (39.4 ft).
Q: Why doesn’t the cleaner respond after turning on the machine? A: The battery may be dead after long-time delivery or storage.
Charge the device, the LED indicator will be solid red while charging.
Q: Why can’t the cleaner climb the wall? A1: The device may be set to Floor- Only mode.
Connect it to the app and select the correct mode. A2: There is garbage or debris in the filter basket. Remove the basket and clean it.
Q: Why does the cleaner sit at the bottom of the pool and it doesn’t move or moves slowly?
A1: The device may be caught in the drain outlet on the pool floor. It will try to float itself to break free. If it is still stuck after several minutes, use the pole to move it.
A2: The device may absorb an extensive amount of debris in a very short time when placed in a dirty pool. Check and clean the filters if needed.
Q: Why does the front part float while the rear part stays on the floor? A: This is an intelligent feature of the pool cleaner, to break free from becoming stuck.
Q: Why can’t my phone connect to the cleaner? A: Please follow the below steps to link the app to the cleaner:
1. Keep your machine turned on. 2. Check and/or turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone. 3. Make sure your phone is in proximity to the cleaner (within 5 m or 16.4 ft.).

| Robotic Pool Cleaner User Guide

Q: Why can’t the cleaner clean the wall or waterline in Standard mode? A: The device may contain too much debris in the filter basket.
This could weaken its suction capacity.
Q: How many smartphones can be connected to one cleaner? A: Only one smartphone can be connected to the cleaner. You cannot connect
to the machine from other smartphones. Please reset the cleaner or delete it in the app if you want to link to another smartphone.
Q: Why does the cleaner automatically switch off after a few hours of charging? A: The device is designed to shut off automatically in 10 minutes after being fully
charged to protect the battery and ensure its lifespan.
Q: What is the issue when the cleaner lights up with a yellow or white LED indicator? A: The yellow LED indicator means the cleaner has a problem such as over-currenting
because it is stuck, or fails to start. Remove the cleaner from the pool and re-start it. The white LED indicator means that the cleaner is updating its firmware. Make sure that the cleaner battery is not too low.
Q: What is the issue when the cleaner lights up with a purple LED indicator? A: The purple LED indicator means that the cleaner is stuck. Pull the cleaner out of
the water. When the blue LED indicator starts to flash, place it back in the pool to continue the cleaning process.
Q: How can I obtain replacement accessories? A: Please contact your purchase channel.
Q: How can I buy a long pole and what size is it? A: A pick-up hook is available in the box, which is the universal pool accessory.
The hook fits a standard pole size with a 25-32 mm (1-11/4 ins) diameter connection end. You can easily find a pole in your local market or shop online.
