Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Loosely attach the radio brackets and the provided 4 bolts to the radio mount using the 4 provided locknuts and a socket wrench.
- Step 2: Loosen and remove the screws installed on the side of the radio unit.
- Step 3: Place the radio in between the two brackets with the radio facing up and toward the angled edge of the bracket. Adjust the brackets as needed to secure the radio.
- Step 4: Secure the radio by replacing the side radio screws into the radio to attach it to both brackets.
- Step 5: Slide in the long bolts provided into the holes on the angled edge of the mount. Add spacers to the bolt ends.
- Step 6: Locate the bolt holes on the side handle of the vehicle, remove existing bolts, and install the provided bolts. Tighten them with a ratchet.
- Step 7: Ensure that the radio screen faces up and towards the seat during installation.

Assembling the Mount and Radio
Equipment Used
- QTY (1) Philips Screwdriver
- QTY (1) Small adjustable Crescent Wrench
- QTY (1) Your Choice of Mobile Rugged Radio
- QTY (1) MT-RM BRONCO kit:
Step 1
- Loosely attach the radio brackets and the provided 4 bolts (see Fig 2) to the radio mount using the 4 provided locknuts and a socket wrench:
Step 2
- Loosen and remove the screws installed on the side of the radio unit. See Fig. 3
Step 3
- Place the radio in between the two brackets with the radio facing up and toward the angled edge of the bracket (see fig 4).
- Adjust the brackets as needed to gently hug the sides of the radio and tighten down to secure the brackets’ positions.
Step 4
- Next, secure the radio by replacing the side radio screws into the radio. Secure so that the radio is attached to both brackets.
Vehicle Installation
- Slide in the long bolts provided into the holes on the angled edge of the mount. The bolt head should be on the same side as the radio: See fig 5
- Add the spacers provided to the bolt ends: see Fig 6
Step 6
- Locate the bolt holes on the side handle of the vehicle and remove the bolts that are installed on the vehicle. See Fig 7.
Step 7
- Next, Install the bolts into the vehicle and tighten down both finger-tight before using a ratchet to make the bolts snug. The radio screen should face up and towards the seat. See Fig. 8
Performance Check
- Now it’s time to test. It’s always best to check performance in an outdoor open area. Turn on the radio and intercom system. Turn on each device one at a time. Check operation separately to ensure each device is functioning properly.
- Once all devices are on and functioning properly, re-check with the engine running. If any electronic noise is introduced in the system while the engine is running make sure all devices are not connected to 12V power. If you have any other questions, our team is ready to help give us a call.
