How To Use
Power Source.
The A IR15 must be connected to a power suppy in order to operate. It is
recommended that the vehicle is ON / Running when operating the inflator to
protect against draining the vehicle’s battery.
Connecting to 12V Plug.
Carefuly read and understand the vehicle owner’s manual on specific
precautions when powerng devices with the vehicle’s 12V port. NOCO A IR15
requires the vehice’s 12V Port to include a 15A Fuse. The vehicle must be On /
Running for the NOCO A IR15 to power on. Connect the 12V Cabe on the A IR15 to
the Female 12V Plug (12V AUX / Cigarette Lighter Port.) in the vehicle.
Connecting Air Hose.
Connect the air hose on the AR15 to the tire before starting inflation. The
air hose will screw onto the tire’s air valve. No tools are necessary and
shoud be hand tightened. If the inflator is not connected properly the air may
leak and will not run as efficiently. For other applications, attach the
required adapter for the intended purpose. Adapters screw to end of the ar
hose. Hand tghten the adapters, no tools are requred for tightening.
| Hardware| Purpose
---|---|---
| Presta Valve Adapter| Bicycle Tires
| Plastic Inflatable Nozzle| Toys, Air beds
| Inflating Needle| Sports Balls
Display.
The Display wil turn on when connected to a power supply. When the Display is
in Pressure Set Mode and the “POWER” button is pressed, the compressor wl turn
on and will display the actual pressure and the “SET” LED wl turn off. NOTE:
The Display wl not show pressure when inflatng with Manual Mode. When the
compressor is on, the current pressure unit LED wl be solid white.
Initialization.
When the inflator is connected to a power supply, the unit will display either
the detected pressure or the set pressure. If more than 3 PSI is detected,
then the detected pressure wi be displayed with the “SET” LED beng off. If 3
PSI or under, the last “SET” pressure will be dspayed with the “SET” LED being
on. To set the pressure, press the < or > buttons. The minimum pressure that
can be set is 15.0 PSI. For applications requiring less than 15.0 PSI, it is
recommended to use Manual Mode.
Setting Pressure Unit.
To change the unts for pressure, hold the “<” and “>” buttons down
smultaneously for 3 seconds, the selected pressure unts wl flash and the rest
of the display is turned off. Pressing the < or > buttons within the next 3
second window wl turn on the LED of the next pressure unt and turn off the
previous unt LED. Ths operation will continue until nothng is pressed for 3
seconds, the selected unit will be solid white and the display wil turn back
on.
Auto-Memory.
The inflator has a built-in auto-memory and will return to the last set unit
and pressure when connected.
Dynamic Dwell.
As the inflator approaches its set target pressure, the inflator will turn
“on” and “off” (e.g., the dwell period) to ensure accurate pressure
measurements. The inflator measures, monitors, and automatcaly adjusts the
pressure durng each dwel period. The dwel period may continue until the
inflator can accurately top-off to the set pressure.
Automatic Shut-Off.
The A IR15 is built with an Automatc Shut-off feature. The compressor wl turn
off when the desired pressure has been reached, the air hose is disconnected
or if the battery voltage drops below 10.0V. The Dsplay wl remain on after the
Automatic Shut-off. NOTE: Automatc Shut-off wil not occur when operating in
Manual Mode.
Manual Mode.
To enter Manual Mode, set the pressure to 0.0. Press the power button to turn
on the compressor and the compressor will run until the power button is
pressed again (or maximum pressure limit of the unit is reached or an error
has occurred such as overtemperature, etc.). During Manual Mode the display
wil cycle LEDs. When Manual mode is shut off, the display wi show the current
pressure.
Interface
- Power Button Push to start or stop inflating.
- LED Display When unit is disconnected or below 3 PSI, display will indicate the SET pressure. When the Display is above 99.9, the decimal will not light up to indicate 100 or above.
- SET LED Illuminates solid orange when LED Display indicates the set pressure.
- Unit LEDs Only one Unit LED, (PSI, BAR and KPA) will illuminate solid White at a time to indicate the current units for pressure on the LED Display.
- Arrow Buttons Hold both Arrow Buttons to begin changing the pressure units. When LED Display is on, use the Arrow Buttons to change the set pressure.
- Light Mode Button Toggles the ultra-bright LED light through 6 light modes: 100% > 50% > 10% > SOS > Blink > Off.
