• Along with how to set up and use your Crocpad Pup Plank – Dog Ramp, we’ve included some really important safety warnings. It’s super important to read and understand them all before you use the ramp. Remember to keep this manual safe for later! Here are the safety rules you need to know:
• WARNING: Inflate the ramp properly using the pump provided. Don’t overinflate it – it could twist. Inflate it until it feels firm.
• WARNING: This ramp can’t save lives, so always supervise its use.
• WARNING: Don’t let anyone dive or jump on or off it, and never tow it with a vehicle.
• WARNING: Only use the ramp in calm water.
• WARNING: If you think the ramp has a hole or leak, don’t use it – it could be dangerous.
• WARNING: Even though it’s not necessary, it’s a good idea to get a pet flotation device for your furry friend.
• CAUTION: DO NOT OVER-INFLATE.
• Inflation and setup should be done, or supervised, by a competent adult.
• Inflate slowly until most of the wrinkles in the material are gone and the air chambers first feel firm to the touch. Do not continue to inflate past this point!
• Do not use air compressors or compressed air to inflate. Use of an air compressor or overinflation can rupture the product beyond repair, voiding the warranty.

Setup Instructions

• Step 1: (Preparation)
  • Make sure there are no sharp objects under the product that might puncture the vinyl then lay out the Pup Plank facing up on a flat surface.
• Step 2: (Connect the pump)
  • Locate the valves. The main air chamber has a valve.
  • Using the hand pump in the package, lock the adaptor onto the end of the pump and insert it into the valve body included with the pump. Turn ¼ turn to lock it in place.
• Step 3: (Inflate)
  • Using the hand pump, inflate until firm. Close the valve by screwing the cap back on.
  • CAUTION: DO NOT OVER-INFLATE
  • Note: Release a little air when the weather becomes hot. If you’re inflating in the morning while the air is still cool, remember that the internal air pressure may expand later in the afternoon.
  • Prevent the build-up of unwanted air pressure by releasing some of the air later in the day.
• Step 5: (Anchor the Pup Plank)
  • Using the 8ft rope and the D rings on the ramp, anchor/secure the ramp to your pool edge/fence, boat or dock.

Care and Maintenance

• The main thing you need to be concerned about with your Pup Plank is keeping it away from sharp edges or objects and over-inflation.
• Over-inflation can damage or make a dramatic change in the form or appearance of the Pup Plank.
• When you blow up a Pup Plank, you fill it with warm air via the supplied pump. The air during the day gains kinetic energy from the sun, expands, and causes your inflatable to become stiff.

How do you protect your ramp from the sun?

• The best practice is to store it in a shady area or room.
• Release a little air when the weather becomes hot. If you’re inflating the water Pup Plank in the morning while the air is still cool, remember that the internal air pressure may expand later in the afternoon.
• Prevent the buildup of unwanted air pressure by releasing some of the air later in the day.
• When it is not used, please make sure you deflate it enough to avoid the Pup Plank expanding from the heat.

Cleaning and Storage:

• Clean the surfaces with mild soap and water to stay clean and only store when completely dry.
• The inflatable pup plank only needs a wash with mild soap and water to stay clean. Avoid using oil-based or chlorinated solutions on the surface.
