Fat boy product information Edison the Mini:
The Fatboy® Edison the Mini is a set of 3 ambient lights with built-in rechargeable batteries. The light source is a single LED module emitting 3000K (warm white) light and the intensity can be adjusted in 3 steps. The lamp can be used outdoors and is rain and water spray proof. The lamp is protected from dripping water. The lamp comes equipped with a 3-headed USB cable to charge the lamps all at once. Please make sure to use a 5V 1.5 or 5V 2A adapter to charge the Edison the Mini. An Original Fatboy 2 A charger is available on www.fatboy.com. A fully charged lamp remains lit for approx. 12 hours (at 100% brightness).

Battery
The Edison Mini lamp contains a battery that cannot be replaced or disassembled. It must be recycled or scrapped separately from household waste. Please contact an official Fatboy® reseller for disassembling the battery before recycling it.
Instructions for use
Make sure to use a 5V1.5 – 2A USB adapter (using a different power adapter may
cause irreparable damage to the luminaire).
Use only the supplied USB cable to charge the lamp.
When using outdoor use portable luminaires, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal
injury, including the following.
Do not expose the lamps to excessive heat from heat sources.
The lamp can be used outdoors, and is protected against rain and water
sprayers. Do not use the lamp under water (The lamp is not water proof). Check
the voltage of your power supply. The voltage must be between 100 and 240 V AC
current.
Charge the luminaire by connecting the magnetic connectors (on the bottom of
the luminaire).
Charging the lamp should always be done indoors.
Connect the USB cable with a 5V 1.5A or 5V 2A adapter, and snap the magnetic
heads of the cable to the magnetic connectors of the lamps. Plug the adapter
into the wall socket.
We recommend charging the batteries for 3-5 hours if you are charging the 3
Edison the Min i’s for the firsttime.
There is an indicator light located next to the magnetic connector. While the
battery is charging, it lights up red. The indicator light will light up green
for 60 seconds, when the battery is fully charged.
For normal charging, it will take approx. 4 hours to fully charge
the 3 lamps.
The lamp can operated by pressing the on/off button on the top:
• The lamp is turned off;
• Press one time: intensity lights up 35%
• Press second time:: intensity lights up 65%
• Press third time: intensity lights up 100%
• Press fourth time: the lamp is turned off again. The lamps can be charged
separately or altogether.
Maintenance
When not in use for a long time, make sure the lamps are turned off. We recommend recharging the lamps every year, to keep the battery in good condition. Do not leave the lamps for a long period outdoors.
Cleaning the lamp
Use a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and liquid soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive substances. Never open the lamp when cleaning.
Troubleshooting
The lamp has fallen and the shade has come loose:
Replace the shade on the lamp. If you hear a ‘click’ sound, the shade has been
mounted correctly.
Please contact your Fatboy® dealer if the problem persists.
The lamp has fallen and is now damaged: If the lamp no longer works it is
unsuitable for use. If this is the case, please contact your Fatboy”‘ dealer.
Never attempt to repair the lamp yourself.
