- 1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. Do not use this heater outdoors.
3. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate the
heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
4. Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the power cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like.
Arrange the power cord away from trafc areas and where it will not be tripped over.
5. To disconnect the heater, turn controls to off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
6. Connect to properly grounded outlets only. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never
use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
7. To prevent a possible re, do not block rebox air intakes or the exhaust in any manner. Do not operate the
rebox on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
8. There is a thermostat limiter inside the heater. When the inner temperature over heats or abnormal heating
occurs, the thermostat protective device cuts off the power supply to avoid replacement damage or risk of re.
9. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause re, electrical shock, or injury to persons.

There are no user-serviceable parts inside the replace/heater,
If the unit appears to malfunction, turm the unit offand unplug the unit from the wall immediately and contact Customer. -
This heater is hot when in use.To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
If provided,use handles when moving this heater, Keep combustible material, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,clothes and curtains at least 3 f.t(0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear. -
Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.

Always unplug the heater when not in use.

Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return the heater to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair. -
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings as this may cause an electric shock or re,or damage the heater.

Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or ammable liquids are used or stored.

While the heater is in use,the top center of the replace can get hot to the touch, and may cause serious injury or burns. Always supervise small children around the replace/heater. Do not place any cloth or decorations over the heater outlet of the replace, or otherwise obstruct the heater outlet of the replace, as this may cause a re and serious injury may result,

Assembly

STEP 1
Take out the unit from the box and lay out all the spare parts for easy assembly. Make sure all small items are not left in packaging materials. -
STEP 2
Carefully set the unit from the back of the mantel and center it in the opening.
Check the alignment and attach the unit of the mantel by inserting screws through the drilled holes on the trim of the mantel.
NOTE: Do not attempt to install the unit from the front of the mantel. It will not t.
Operation
Control Panel and Remote Control
The control panel is located on the top right corner of the replace/heater
unit.
When a function is changed from the control panel or remote there will be a
corresponding indicator displayed.
The indicator shows the function changed and the level selected. When the
function is turned off, the corresponding indicator will fade.
Toggle switch
The toggle switch is located on the back of the unit.
NOTE:
Before using the replace please make sure set the toggle switch to the
position “l”. Set the toggle switch to the position “O” if you would like to
turn off the unit.
Operation

Power
This button will not only put the replace insert in a standby mode, but also you can see the flame effect through the screen. This will turn off all functions at once. -
Timer
- Pressing the timer button repeatedly will cycle through the following timer.
- Settings: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours and off.
- The display shows: 30-1H-2H-3H-4H-5H-6H-None.
- The replace will automatically turn off when the timer reaches zero minute.

Flame
- This button controls the flame effect. Allows you to adjust the flame to suit your mood.
- Press this button to increase/decrease the flame effect.
- Change the flame by pressing flame button repeatedly.
- The brightness level of flame is as follows: high-medium-low -off. And the display shows L3 -L2- L1 accordingly.

Heater
The default setting temperature is 72°F (22°C).
Press the HEATER button to activate the heater, re-press it to turn off the heater.- When the heater is activated, press the heater button and hold it for 5 seconds, the display will ash, then enter the temperature setting mode and change the temperature by repeatedly pressing the heater button. The temperature can be switched from ON, 17°C (62°F) to 27°C (82°F). “ON” indicates the heating function is continuously on.
- When the heater is activated, press the POWER button for 5 seconds to change the temperature unit from Fahrenheit (F) to Celsius (C).

Weekly timer
Use the TIMER button to turn on the weekly timer. -
Plus
Time and temperature increase during weekly timer setting. -
Minus
Time and temperature decrease during weekly timer setting.

Press Weekly timer Button to start weekly timer setting, and the display will show “0”.
Note: Other number means the weekly timer has been set.
Using the [+] and [-] to calibrate the present hour. (24 hours format) -
Press Weekly timer Button a second time until the back digits start ashing, the display shows “1 d” that means the the weekly timer start from today.

Press Weekly timer Button a third time to set the start working hours. Using the [+] and [-] to adjust.(0~23)

Press Weekly timer Button a ninth time for next day, the display will show “2 d”, the operation method is
same as above. -
Repeat the above operation for each day! There are two time periods that can be set for each day.
If no press around 5 seconds during the time setting, it will automatically exit the 7-day weekly timer setting.
Open Window Function(Additional Hidden Functions)
In the thermostat control heating mode, when the ambient temperature drops
over 3 °C for more than 5 minutes, the display shows and ashes, this means
there is window open or there may exist some cooling items opened, at the same
time the temperature control turns the heating off. You will need to turn the
appliance off to stop the ashes.
To turn off the open window function, press the ame button and hold it for 5
seconds, the display will ash shows “E3”; to turn on this function again,
press the ame button and hold it for 5 seconds, the display will ash shows .
Installing the battery
The battery is supplied with the remote control. The first thing to do with
the remote control is to remove the plastic sheet insulated the battery. For
replacement battery, use lithium-based CR2025 battery.
Please follow the sequence below to replace the battery.
Take out the battery bracket.
Insert the battery with the button side into the battery bracket, making sure the battery is rmly seated.
Press the battery bracket into the remote control, making sure it snaps into position.
Turn the remote over and aim it towards the replace/heater unit.
Press the power button on the upper portion, and see if the ames on the
replace/heater turn on or off.
If nothing appears to happen, check to make sure the battery is installed
correctly, and try again.
WARNING Do not ingest batteries.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Remove batteries from equipment when not used for an extended period of time.
NOTE:
Battery disposal Please always dispose of batteries at a suitable recycling
point.
Care and Maintenance
WARNING
Always disconnect from the power supply before cleaning the heater.
First turn off the main power.
Then remove the electrical plug from the wall outlet.
WARNING
Do not use this replace insert if any part of it has been underwater.
Immediately call a qualied service technician to inspect the rebox and replace
any part of the electrical system which has been underwater.
The blower motor and ame motor are pre-lubricated for a durable using time and need no further lubrication or maintenance.To remove any accumulation of dust or debris, the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner should occasionally be used to clean the outlet grille of the fan heater.

Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.

Use a clean soft cloth dampened with warm water to clean the replace surface.
D0 NOT use household or abrasive cleaners, as these products may damage the surface. -
When cleaning the glass viewing screen use a non-abrasive damp cloth with liquid cleaner or soft soap
if necessary; Don NOT use cleaning powders or any other substance with abrasives since these substances will scratch glass. -
Under no circumstances should this product be operated with a broken or chipped glass panel.

Do not strike or slam the glass.

In the event that your appliance is stained or otherwise damaged during use, we recommend that you call a professional to it.

When not in use please unplug the cord from the outlet to prevent any damage or accidents.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |

Logs glow but flame effect does not Work.| Check to see if the spinning motor
is working.
Heater doesn’t work, but Power and Heater switches
/ buttons are in the “ON” position.
| Turn all switches / buttons to the “OFF” position and unplug the unit from
the wall outlet for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes plug the unit back into wall
outlet, and operate as normally.
Fire seems noisy.| 1. There is a level of noise when the flame effect is in
use, caused by a motor that helps generate the effect. This noise will be
heard when there is no other background noise.
2. There is a higher level of noise associated with the heater motor; this is due to the air flow required when heat has been selected.
There is a visible flame effect, but the heater does not blow warm air.| 1. Check that the temperature setting exceeds the room temperature.
2. Turn on/off the Heater button several times to make sure it is in the “ON” position.
Remote is not operating| 1. Repeatedly pressing buttons in rapid succession may cause the transmitter to malfunction. Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace. Press the remote control buttons with an even motion and gentle pressure.
2. Check or replace batteries.
