Product Usage Instructions

• Isolate Power Supply: Turn off the mains power supply before starting installation.
• Select Installation Position: Choose the desired location for installation.
• Mounting Bracket: Attach the central mount bracket to the ceiling, align, and mark screw positions.
• Drill and Insert Fixtures: Drill holes for mounting screws and cable passage.
• Fasten Bracket: Securely attach the bracket to the ceiling and connect cables to terminals.
• Connect Lamp Wires: Terminate Active and Neutral wires correctly.
• Select CCT Color: Set the desired color temperature on the selector switch.
• Attach Lamp Body: Align the lamp body with the bracket, push upwards, and rotate to lock it in place.
• Restore Power: Reconnect the power supply, switch on, and test for proper operation.

These luminaires comply with AS/NZS 69598.2.1 for surface mounting to ceilings.

Installation Method

Read the instructions and check you have all the tools and accessories to complete the installation correctly.

1. Isolate the main power supply before starting the installation.
2. Select a position for installation.
3. Remove the central mount bracket, align it on the ceiling, and mark the appropriate positions for the mounting screws (See Fig 1).
4. Drill and insert ceiling plugs, and a central hole for the cable and pull through ready for termination. (See Fig 2).
5. Fasten the mounting bracket to the ceiling as per the diagram, then after removing the terminal cover by loosening the 4 screws to expose the terminals. Terminate the cables for Active to the L terminal and Neutral to the N terminal. Make sure the outer insulation from the cable for both fixed wiring and from the light is captured under the terminal cover and tighten down the 4 screws as shown (See Fig 3).
6. Connect wire trace strain relief to help support the lamp to the bracket. (See Fig 4)
7. Connect lamp wires to the terminals and ensure secured.
8. Make sure the selected CCT color (See Fig 3) is set on the selector switch (See sticker marked on product)
9. Align lamp body onto the bracket and push up against ceiling (See Fig 4, 5 and 6) and rotate to lock in place.
10. Restore the power supply, switch it on, and test for correct operation.

Important Information

• It is recommended that luminaires be installed and fitted by a qualified electrician, ensuring the installation complies with the current building regulations.
• These products are designed for connection to a 220-240V~50Hz supply.
• The trader will not accept responsibility for any claims arising from incorrect installation or application.
• If cleaning is necessary, ensure the product is switched off and only wipe the accessible lens and housing with a damp cloth and dry off using a dry lint-free cloth.

Installation Instructions

SCOYSTER // Oyster Light, 30W LED 3600lm, 420mm diameter x 28mm depth, CCT3 3000K/4000K/5700K, IP20

Remove terminal cover. Connect neutral to terminal marked ‘N’ and ‘Active’ to ‘L’ terminal. Replace terminal cover. Ensure outer cable insulation is covered.
