BEFORE USE

• This device is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

Note A slight odour and smoke might appear when heating the device for the first time. This is completely normal and it will stop after using the device.

OPERATION

1. Wash and condition your hair.
2. Dry your hair with a towel and comb it.
3. Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance rating label and that the plug is earthed. Plug the appliance to a power supply.
4. Align the desired head with the grooves of the straightening brush, insert it and turn it to the locked position. You will hear a click when it is correctly into place.
5. Use the power selector to choose the desired setting. 0 is the off position.
6. Divide the hair into manageable sections (about 4 cm). We recommend that you start with the bottom layer of your hair, from roots to ends, especially if you use the straightening head.
7. To remove the attachment, press the release button, with the other hand rotate the attachment to the unlocked position and gently pull it out.
8. Unplug the device from the socket when not in use.

After use

1. Turn the appliance off and unplug it.
2. Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
3. Remove the hair and dust from the appliance and attachments.
4. Clean the appliance with a soft cloth and store it in a dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the device. Use a soft brush or a cotton swab to clean the air inlet.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable.
• Clean the dirt and hairs that may be clogging the device.
