ROTWILD R.C1000 E-Mountain Bike User Guide
You can download the Quickstart Guide on the ROTWILD website in the following languages:
NOTE
The Quickstart Guide does not replace the user manual. You should always
read it in addition to this Quickstart Guide. You find the user manual on the
ROTWILD website.
You start and deactivate your R.C1000 with the on/off switch at the top of the
display. When your system is running on low battery, you can charge your
ROTWILD Bike by connecting the delivered charging lead with the charging plug
on the down tube or by removing the battery from your bike and charge it
separately.
You can use your ROTWILD bike with different riding profiles. You switch through the riding profiles with a short press on the support switches.
- The “Eco” mode ensures the maximum range thanks to the minimum motor support.
- The “Flow” mode is suitable for sporty driving in city traffic.
- With “Flex” the motor support adapts to your own performance and even shifts through the gears independently so that you can keep your cadence.
- With “Fly” the engine supports you to achieve maximum performance.
Your ROTWILD bike has a number of features:
- Your bike has a walking aid that you can use to get support from the motor.
- With the Boost Mode you can switch directly to the highest riding profile in any driving situation. To activate the boost function, press the walking aid button during ride.
- Thanks to the Pinion gear, you can shift through the gears in any situation, whether under load or at a standstill.
- With the light button you can choose between switched off light, low beam and high beam.
The display gives you the following information on the drive screen:
- The current speed
- The battery charge level
- Your selected driving profile
- The current light setting
By pressing the toggle switch, you can change the main display. To select the desired screen, confirm it with the toggle switch or the system will automatically jump to the selected display after two seconds.
When stationary, you will also be given the settings menu to choose from. In this you navigate with the support switches, confirm your entries with the toggle switch and exit the menu with the light button.
You can connect your ROTWILD bike with the FIT E-Bike Control App.
To do this, download the app to your mobile device. With the app you can
configure your ROTWILD bike according to your needs and share the routes you
have ridden on Komoot.
Open die app and login with your FIT account. Afterwards you can connect your ROTWILD Bike with your smartphone via Bluetooth and the delivered FIT key card
NOTE SAFETY NOTES
The safety information is a part of the user manual, which describes all
relevant information. The digital user manual can be downloaded from
www.rotwild.com.
Users have the right to receive the user manual in paper form free of charge.
If needed, the printed user manual can
be ordered from us.
Reading the safety information does not exempt you from the duty to read and
follow the user manual!
Failure to follow the user manual can lead to dangerous riding situations,
falls, accidents, and property damage. Contact your specialist dealer if you
cannot carry out the described work on your bike (e.g., making adjustments)
yourself, if you feel unsure, or if you do not have the proper tools.
SAFETY NOTES
Failure to adhere to the intended use can result in the failure of
components and materials, posing a risk of accidents and injuries:
Observe the limitations of the specified intended area of use. You can find
the assignment in Chapter 3 “Important
to Know” in your user manual and on your frame identification. Do not exceed
the permissible total weight (bike +
rider + any load). You can find the permissible total weight and the weight of
your bike in Chapter 4 “Technical Data” in your user manual. Note that your
bike is designed for the regular transportation of a single person.
Tampering with the drive system, particularly tuning, is not allowed.
Check your bike for possible damage before each ride, especially the frame,
fork, handlebar/stem unit, drive unit,
and seat post. Do not use your bike if any damage is detected.
Be aware of an increased risk of injury due to potentially high temperatures
of individual components (e.g., brakes,
drive unit).
Observe the guidelines for carrying objects as described in the user manual.
Follow the legal regulations applicable
in your country for use on public roads. When transporting your bike, follow
the instructions in Chapter 10 “Transporting Your ROTWILD Bike,” as well as
those of the authorities or the transport company. Before each ride, check the
proper functioning of the brakes, steering, suspension, and if applicable, the
lights, ensure the handlebars, stem, wheels, mudguard, and pedals are securely
fastened, and check the tire pressure. Inspection and adjustments must be
carried out according to our guidelines in Chapter 6 “ROTWILD Details” of the
user manual.
Familiarize yourself initially with the riding and braking behavior, as well
as the electric assistance modes and the
walk assist (if available), especially with different suspension settings, in
wet conditions, and on loose surfaces.
In case of damage or malfunction, your bike must be inspected by your ROTWILD
specialist dealer before further use.
Have your bike regularly inspected and maintained by your ROTWILD specialist
dealer according to the guidelines in Appendix I “Inspection Notes” to avoid
hazards, such as those caused by wear.
Observe the specified torque values (Nm) for the assembly of components. Your
specialist dealer will be happy to assist you with this.
Use only batteries and chargers approved by us. Follow the guidelines in
Chapter 6 “ROTWILD Details” for charging and using the battery, particularly
regarding ambient temperature and the location of the charging process.
Use only undamaged and unaltered batteries and chargers.
