Product Usage Instructions
Quick Start Guide
- Install the Ecowitt app on your mobile phone.
- Make sure location and Wi-Fi services are enabled on your mobile phone.
- Disable the cellular network data service on your mobile phone during the setup process (if using a mobile phone to run the ecowitt app).
- Tap the menu at the top left corner of the app.
- Select “Weather Station” from the menu.
- Select “+ Add a New Weather Station” to initiate the Wi-Fi provisioning process.
- Follow the instructions provided by the app.
- If you encounter any issues, please contact our customer service department for assistance.
SETUP Via Embedded Webpage
- Activate configuration mode on the weather station. (If you don’t know how to activate it, please refer to the APP page on Wi-Fi provisioning.)
- Use your mobile phone to connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot from your weather station.
- Open your mobile phone browser and enter “192.168.4.1” to open the embedded web page.
- The default password is empty, so tap “Login” directly.
- Go to “Local Network” and enter your router’s SSID and Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Apply” to save the settings.
- Go to “Weather Services” and copy the MAC address.
- Return to the Gateway provisioning on the mobile app.
- Choose “Manually Adding” and enter the Device Name.
- Paste the copied MAC address to save the configuration.

- Use your mobile phone to connect to the Wi-Fi hot spot from your weather station.
- Go to your mobile phone browser, and enter 192.168.4.1 to open the embedded web page. (The default password is empty, tap Login directly. ).
- Local Network -> Router SSID -> WIFI password -> Apply.
- Weather services -> Copy “MAC”.
- Return “Gateway provisioning” to choose “Manually adding” on mobile app. And then enter “Device Name” and paste “MAC” to save.
