GENERAL

  • Fee for service is $18.00 per residential living unit per month. (Effective August 2023 billing.)
  • Keep in mind, trash and recyclables are not picked up at the same time and dumped together. The truck driver picks up trash first throughout the whole town, dumps the load, then comes back to town to pick up recyclables for half of the town (check your address on the Zone Map). Recycle materials go to a different location than regular trash.
  • Call City Hall immediately on Mondays if you believe your trash/recycling was missed. We may be able to catch the truck driver before he leaves town. Once the driver leaves North Newton for the day any missed carts will not be able to be picked up.

RESERVE-A-DUMPSTER PROGRAM

  • For residents who get a utility bill there is no additional charge to reserve a small dumpster when cleaning out clutter, moving out, or downsizing.
  • The dumpster cannot be used for demolition/construction waste or for bulky appliances.
  • Call City Hall at 316.283.7633 to reserve. Nisly Brothers will be notified.
  • Dumpsters are delivered on a Wednesday and placed on the street in front of the house.
  • Nisly Brothers picks up the dumpster the following Wednesday.
