Before First Use
Before using your new Omega Compact Combi
Microwave Oven for the first time, please read your manual thoroughly, even if
you are familiar with this type of appliance.
When your oven is switched on for the first time, it may give off an
unpleasant smell. This smell is completely normal, and is due to the oven’s
manufacturing process.
To remove the smell, we recommend that you heat the appliance on Grill &
Convection for a long enough time to burn off any oily residues left during
the manufacturing process, which might contaminate foods with unpleasant
smells. Then, turn off the microwave oven and open the door and let the room
air in to ventilate.
