Product Usage Instructions

Setting Up the Seat Base
- Unfold the seat.
- Secure both sides with the pins. The clip will click over the plastic base when the pin is properly in place. It is easiest to insert the pin while the seat is on its side.
Securing the Seat into the Stroller
- Note: Ensure the pin is above the hinge and the clip is secured over the base.
- Remove the seat pad from the stroller. If your stroller has a recline function, adjust the seat to the most upright position. Position the stroller shoulder strap adjusters so they are in the lowest position.
- Pull the crotch strap and harness buckle through the gap between the seat base sections and slide the strap into the crotch strap channel.
- Slide the waist belts into the waist belt channels. Align the shoulder straps with the shoulder belt channels. Secure the 5-point buckle. Adjust the seat crotch strap so it is at its lowest possible position.

Setting Up the Seat Base

Unfold the Seat.
Secure both sides with the pins. The clip will click over the plastic base when the pin is properly in place. It is easiest to insert the pin while the seat is on its side. $Burley-Baby-Seat-Insert-FIG-1 $4$$

Securing the Seat into the Stroller

Remove the seat pad from the stroller A. If your stroller has a recline function, adjust the seat to the most upright position. Position the stroller shoulder strap adjusters so they are in the lowest position B.
Pull the crotch strap and harness buckle through the gap between the seat base sections and slide the strap into the crotch strap channel.
Slide the waist belts into the waist belt channels. Align the shoulder straps with the shoulder belt channels. Secure the 5-point buckle. Adjust the seat crotch strap so it is at its lowest possible position.
Tighten both the waist straps.
Tighten the shoulder straps. Ensure all straps are fully tightened.
Secure the front of the seat to the stroller frame. Loop the Security Strap around the base frame member closest to the Baby Seat Insert. Pass the strap under the Baby Seat Insert and up through the side tether channel on the opposite side. Feed the strap through the tensioner and securely tighten it.
- For Cub/Cub X model strollers, the included Cub Mount adapter is required.
- Note: These steps are only for Cub and Cub X model strollers.
Remove the frame nut located in the front corner of the trailer using a 10mm wrench and a 5mm hex key.
Install the adapter under the nut reinstall the nut and securely tighten it.
Feed the strap through the adapter ring, then follow the same procedure feeding the strap through the side tether channel and tensioner.

Securing the Seating Area

Secure the buckles on both sides of the seat and pull tight. $Burley-Baby-Seat-Insert-FIG-1 $14$$
Fold the seat fabric over the corner of the seat on both sides and attach to the hook and loop fastener.

Adjusting the Harness and Securing Your Child

Ensure that the shoulder straps are positioned just below the child’s shoulders. To adjust the position, rotate the buckle sideways, and slide through the seat from the back to the front. Insert into the new position from the front and secure. Ensure that the buckle is passed completely through the seat and that both straps are at the same level.
Before seating or removing your children, lock the parking brake. After seating, secure and adjust the harnesses. Snap shoulder straps & waist straps into 5-point harness buckle and adjust straps so they are secure.
To remove your children, press the yellow release button on the 5-point harness.
When using a double stroller with one child, always seat the child in the right side position.

Maintenance

Storage

For longer product life, store the Baby Seat Insert indoors.
It should not be stored at temperatures less than -10°F (-23°C) or greater than 150°F (65°C).

Fabric Care

Remove fabric from the plastic base.
Machine wash cold. Line dry. DO NOT use bleach.

Warranty

Burley Accessory Limited Warranty

This Burley accessory is warranted from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship as follows: fabrics for one year, frame and plastic parts for two years.
Your original dated sales or delivery receipt showing the date of purchase is your proof of purchase. If a defect in materials or workmanship is discovered during the Limited Warranty period, we will, at our sole option, repair or replace your product at no cost to you. This warranty is only valid in the country in which the product was purchased.
The Limited Warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser of this product and is not transferable to anyone who obtains ownership of the product from the original purchaser. The Limited Warranty does not cover claims resulting from misuse, failure to follow the instructions, installation, improper maintenance and use, abuse, alteration, involvement in an accident, and normal wear and tear. The Limited Warranty does not cover products that are used in rental operations and Burley will not be liable for any incidental or commercial damages relating to such use.
TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND INSTEAD OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
The duration of any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose that may exist during the express warranty period is expressly limited to the limited warranty period.

REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE SHALL BE LIMITED AS SPECIFIED HEREIN TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT OUR SOLE OPTION.
