SETTINGS BEFORE USING
- Power
- Before using the rangefinder, please charge it. When charging, the red light will be on. When it’s fully charged, the light will turn green.
- The rangefinder will automatically power off after 8s of idling.
- Focus adjustment
- If the view is not clear, please try to twist the eyepiece to adjust the focus of the rangefinder.
- Unit of measurement
- Power the rangefinder up and long-press the”M” button to change the unit of measurement.
MODE SELECTION
- There are 3 modes available: golf mode, height mode, and hunting mode. The golf mode and height mode enable distance measurement up to 1500 yards, while the hunting mode supports distances of up to 2500 yards.
Mode 1 (Golf mode)
- Mode 1 is often used for golf. In this mode, the flag Lock function is activated and if you hold the power button, the rangefinder will scan an area and return the shortest distance measured and it will vibrate at the same time.
- This feature is commonly used for measuring golf flags.
- Please note that the flag-lock function supports the max range at 500yd.
- Besides, you will get two distance readings in this mode, the linear distance and the slope-compensated distance.
- The slope compensated distance in mode 1 is calculated according to the angle data which is also provided in this mode.
- To use mode 1, press the “M” button until there is an “M1” icon at the left of the screen. After that, aim at one target at a time, press the power button and it will give a linear distance and a slope-compensated distance.
- If you want to lock on a flag or a slender object, switch to mode 1, aim around the object, and hold the power button.
- Once you succeed in locking the object, it will give a short vibrate and there will be a circle around the flag icon.
Mode 2 (Height mode)
- The key distinction between mode 1 and mode 2 is that in mode 2, the device reads the elevation change at the target relative to the player’s position, as opposed to providing a slope-compensated distance.
- To use this mode, press the “M” button until there is an “M2” icon and a rifle icon at the left of the screen.
Mode 3 (Hunting mode)
- In mode 3, you can get the linear distance from you to the target.
- You can hold the power button to scan an area to get fast continuous readings.
- This model is designed for hunters who use a bow or gun since the slope-compensated distance is calculated by the rifleman’s rule, and the slope-compensated distance is also called horizontal distance.
- To use this mode, press the “M” button until there is an “M3” icon and a rifle icon at the left of the screen.
- After that, aim the target and press the power button and it will give a linear distance and a slope-compensated distance.
- The slope compensated distance yardage number is corrected for shot an angle and needs no extra user input; shooters simply use the appropriate level ground bullet drop and wind adjustment for the range displayed and shoot.
- Archers use the appropriate level ground sight pin for the horizontal range displayed and shoot.
SWITCH BUTTON
- You can disable all the calculated distances by flipping the switch located at the rear of the rangefinder to ensure compliance with tournament regulations.
