Power adapter

Installation

  1. Connect with power supply
    Plug the power cord into the power jack on the back of the printer.

  2. Power on
    Press the power button to turn on the printer. The power indicator lights up, the printer WiFi automatically enters the state of waiting for connection, and the indicator light constantly on orange.

  3. Download FUJIFILM Print APP
    Search “FUJIFILM Print” in the APP store or scan the below QR code to download and install FUJIFILM Print APP.

Installation – Ribbon

  1. Open the ribbon door.

  2. Insert new ribbon and clamp it.

  3. Close the ribbon door

Installation – Photo Tray

  1. Pull out paper tray.

  2. Open the paper tray

  3. Insert the paper tray to the printer.

Installation – Photo Paper

  1. Take out the paper tray and open the paper tray cover.

  2. Put the photo paper into the paper tray with its polish face up and FUJIFILM logo face down.
    Note: The paper in the paper tray does not feed if more than 20 sheets of photo paper are loaded. Do not touch the area within the cutting lines of the paper.

  3. Close the paper tray cover.

Replacing the ribbon

  1. Open the ribbon door.

  2. Push the handle upward and release the ribbon. Take out the used ribbon.

  3. Insert the new ribbon, make sure the handle is engaged before closing the ribbon door.

Location

When printing, the paper will move back and forth, please make sure there is more than 10cm of space behind the printer. Note: The paper will move back and forth several times.

Storage

It is recommended to store the paper tray in the paper tray storage slot on the upper part of the printer for saving the space, preventing contamination and dust when not in use. The printer has a built-in lithium battery. Please do not store it in a high temperature or high humidity environment. The battery shall be charged at least once every 3 months. The battery is forbidden to use after being immersed in water.

Note: When successfully restore factory setting, all indicators will turn on and blink for 2 seconds.
When successfully restore factory setting, the router connected to Wi-Fi indicator and the direct connection (Wi-Fi) indicator will turn on and blink for 2 seconds.
Printing will not be interrupted by pressing or pressing and holding the power button.
Updating firmware will not be interrupted by pressing or pressing and holding the power button.
Press the power button to turn off the printer when an error occurs, and the printer will try to fix the error automatically once restarted. If it cannot be turn off, press the reset button by a needle to restart the printer.

The network can only be reset when the printer is standby.

Wi-Fi connection

Router connected to Wi-Fi (Recommended. Family sharing. Printing while surfing the Internet. )

Open FUJIFILM Print APP, Home page > Settings > Router mode settings > Input the router account and password of the required network connection> network connection > Select router from the list. Open the Wi-Fi settings of your photo stored device and select router Wi-Fi .

Note: For the first network connection, please turn on the Bluetooth of your phone. Due to APP upgrading and renewal or other reasons, the actual flow may be inconsistent with this user manual. Please follow the instruction in APP.

Directly connection (Wi-Fi) (No router. Fast and Convenient)

Turn on the Direct Connection (Wi-Fi). Press the button on the back of the printer, confirm that the indicator is orange on, the direct connection (Wi- Fi) mode turn on. Open the Wi-Fi settings of the photo storage device, select “FUJIPSC2[XXXX]”, successfully connected to direct connection (Wi-Fi)

Note: The default connection password is 12345678 which can be changed in APP. It can support simultaneous connection of up to 5 devices. The specific figures for [XXXX] is the last four digits of product SN number, which can be found in the label at the bottom of the printer.

Printing

Printing via APP

After connecting Wi-Fi through router or direction connection( Wi-Fi), open FUJIFILM Print APP, you can choose one of the printing mode: Fast printing / common printing (Photo editable mode) / certificate photo printing (automatic layout) / template printing.

Printing of Android devices Album/ AirPrint for Apple Devices

After connecting Wi-Fi through router or direction connection (Wi-Fi), open the album of Android / Apple device, select the photos > Print.

Note: If you can’t find the “Print” in your Android device, you can go to https://mopria.org/zh-cn/print from-android to download the APP and follow the instruction to print.

Wireless Printing of Windows PC

Please download the driver from the product help page of FUJIFILM official weibsit and install it. Connect through router or direct connection (Wi- Fi).

  • Windows 7/8/8.1: Click Control panel > Hardware and sound > Device and printer > Add printer > select “Princiao Smart 2 [xxxx]-WiFi “
  • Windows 10: Click Settings > Device > Printer and scanner > Add printer or scanner > select “Princiao Smart 2 [xxxx]-WiFi “

Note: Make sure device and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The specific figures for [XXXX] is the last four digits of product SN number, which can be found in the label at the bottom of the printer.

Notices

  • The recommended printing temperature is 10 ℃ ~ 35 ℃, and the relative humidity is 40% ~ 60%. Otherwise, the printing quality may be affected.
  • DO NOT use any unofficial ribbon or photographic paper to ensure the printing quality.
  • DO NOT touch the glossy side of the photo paper, nor the plastic film of the ink cartridge, so as to avoid any fingerprints affecting the printing quality.
  • While printing, make sure the glossy side of the photo paper is facing up, the FUJIFILM logo side is facing down the paper tray, inside the paper tray, and make sure the paper tray is installed correctly.
  • The back output should not be blocked, which will block the paper path and affect printing quality.
  • During the printing process, the photo paper will move back and forth in the printer four times, and will be ejected automatically after printing is finished. Please be patient and do not pull out the paper with force, so as to avoid damaging the printer.
  • With the dye-sublimation printing technology, the print head will be heated during printing and may remain hot for a while even after printing is completed. To avoid getting burned, do not touch the print head.
  • Slightly color difference between photos printed from different printer, photo paper or ribbon is normal.
  • When the printer left unused for a long time, it is recommended to remove the paper tray, and close the paper tray door and the paper tray cover, insert paper tray to printer tray storage slot to prevent dust from getting into the printer. Otherwise, the quality of future prints would be negatively affected.
  • It is necessary to avoid the storage in high temperature and humidity if photo paper be put in printer.
  • The printer has a built-in lithium battery. Please do not store it in a high temperature or high humidity environment. The battery shall be charged at least once every 3 months. The battery is forbidden to use after being immersed in water.
  • DO NOT use anyohter adapter except the original one, otherwise printing might fail.
  • DO NOT use the adapter of the printer on other devices in case of any damage.
  • It is recommended to plug in the power adapter to avoid damage if printer is shut down because of out of power during upgrading process.
