THE All New 100% Electric Jeep® Avenger, the company’s first-ever battery
electric vehicle (BEV), combines zero emissions with full brand DNA, all
within compact SUV dimensions.
Designed and built as a Jeep® from the outset, and named European Car of the
Year 2023, the New Avenger packs a unique combination of off-road capability,
functionality and technology into a practical and stylish vehicle with unique
and unrivalled Jeep® appeal.
The New Avenger is the first front-wheel drive Jeep® equipped with
SelecTerrain® and Hill Descent Control as standard which, together with
outstanding approach and departure angles as well as generous ground
clearance, bring new levels of capability into the compact SUV segment.
The New Avenger’s all-new 100% electric powertrain uses a 400-volt electric
motor to generate 115 kW (156 HP) and peak torque of 260 Nm (191 lb ft) for
spirited performance. Meanwhile, the 54 kWh battery – produced by Stellantis –
gives an impressive WLTP range of up to 249 miles, rising to 342 miles on the
urban cycle. Recharging is simple via a 100 kW Mode 4 cable connected to
direct current and a fast public charger. Three minutes of charge is enough to
provide travel distance of around 19 miles, while 24 minutes is sufficient to
charge the batteries from 20 to 80% charge. With a 11 kW Mode 3 cable
connected to alternating current via a Wallbox or public charging station, a
full charge from 0% to 100% is possible in 5.5 hours.
The All New 100% Electric Jeep® Avenger’s modern and digitally enabled
interior creates a seamless and connected driving experience with extensive
storage to keep your day-to-day essentials close by. Standard equipment on the
entry level Longitude includes a 10.25″ infotainment system with six speakers,
Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™ with Wireless Mirroring, automatic air
conditioning, cruise control, 16″ alloy wheels, LED reflector headlights, rear
parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers and keyless entry/go.
At 4.08 m long – 16 cm shorter than the Renegade – the New Avenger’s Selec-
Terrain® drive system offers six modes: ‘Normal’ for everyday driving; ‘Eco’
to enhance range; ‘Sport’ for more driving fun; ‘Snow’ for maximum traction on
icy roads or trails; ‘Mud’ for enhanced grip; and ‘Sand’ to limit the risk of
becoming stuck on sandy soil.
