ZOELLER Pivot Pro Panel Firmware Update Instructions

Pivot Pro Manual Firmware Update Procedure
This procedure will guide you through manually updating the firmware for your
Pivot Pro Panel. If you have Z Control Cloud notifications turned on, you
should receive a verification message after a successful update.
Tools Needed:
- USB thumb drive; under 32GB and formatted as FAT32
- Firmware update file from the Zoeller website
Procedure:
Formatting thumb drive and downloading update file from Website
- If necessary, format the thumb drive as FAT32 using the following steps:
a. Insert the thumb drive into an open USB port on a Microsoft Windows computer.
b. In Windows Explorer, right click on the thumb drive’s name and drive letter and select “Format” from the menu
c. Ensure that the “File System” in the dropdown box is selected as “FAT32”
d. For expediency, the “Quick Format” box should be checked
WARNING: the next step will erase any data on the thumb drive
e. Click “Start”. The process will usually only take a couple of seconds.
Download file from website
- Download the firmware file named “Firmware-PivotPro.bin” to your computer
- Drag the downloaded file onto the USB thumb drive
- Eject the thumb drive from the computer
Using prepared thumb drive to program Controller

Insert the thumb drive into the Pivot Pro panel’s USB port and leave it inserted.
a. The screen will ask if you wish to up Firmware, choose yes.
b. After about 15 seconds the screen will prompt to remove USB. -
Remove the thumb drive from the panel after it prompts you as described above.
a. The unit will begin the programming process, the system ready light will flash for about a minute.
b. At the completion of the programming process the unit will chirp, reset, and then all lights will flash then turn off.
