9 Common Faults and Troubleshooting
Phenomenon Cause Analysis Solutions
The switch is turned to the “ON” position, but the laser line does not light up.
1. Low battery power 2. The instrument exceeds
the operating temperature range
1. Charge the lithium battery 2. Make sure the operating
temperature of the instrument is between
Laser line flashes
The switch is turned to the “ON” position, but the laser line does not light
up.
The laser line become thicker or blurry
Laser line visibility deteriorates
Instrument out of operating range
1. The ambient temperature of the instrument changes suddenly
2. The instrument has been subject to strong impact or drop.
Adjust the instrument to a roughly level state
1. Leave it for a period of time to make the temperature of the instrument
consistent with the environment.
2. Send for repair
There is dust on the surface of the light outlet glass
Clean with soft cloth dampened in water
