Troubleshooting

  • The recordings do not capture the subject:
    • Try to place the device in an area where no heat sources are in the camera’s field of view.
    • In some cases, if the camera is near a body of water, it will take photos without any subject.
  • Avoid placing the device on a fragile tree which may move in the event of strong wind.
    • Remove the branches that are in front of the camera lens.
    • Sunrise or sunset can trigger the PIR sensor.
    • If the bird or other animals are moving too quickly, it may move out of the camera’s field of view before the recording is taken.
  • The camera stops or won’t record anymore:
    • Check if the memory card is full.
    • Check the battery status and make sure there is enough power left to operate the camera. Make sure the camera is in ON position.
