PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
General assembly instructions
- If you hang the fan on a hook, the latter must withstand at least 100 kg.
- To prevent personal injury and damage, make sure that the location where the appliance is going to be installed allows a 2.3-metre clearance from the blades to the floor and a 76-cm clearance from the blades to any wall or object. Fig. 3
- Make sure that the building structure can hold the full weight of the fan.
- This fan can be installed on a normal or vaulted ceiling with a downrod. The hanging length can be extended by using a longer downrod.
Assembly according to the type of ceiling. (Fig. 4):
- Normal ceilings
- Sloped ceilings (might require a longer downrod, not supplied by Cecotec)

To assemble this ceiling fan, follow the steps below (Fig. 3-12):
- Remove the lower and upper pins from the downrod and release the hanging ball at the top of the rod.
- Pass the wiring from the main body through the downrod.
- Attach the downrod to the main body by inserting the pin through the downrod and the main-body attachment. Tighten the screws provided on the main-body attachment to properly secure the downrod.
- Remove the 4 screws that fix the upper canopy and the installation bracket. Insert the upper canopy through the downrod.
- Insert the pin through the pin holes located on the upper end of the downrod. Once inserted, slide the hanging ball upward to the upper end of the downrod and fix it with one of the screws provided. Fig. 8-9
- Make sure the pin fits in the slots located inside the hanging ball before screwing it.
- Mark the centre of the installation bracket and use both self-tapping screws provided with their corresponding washers and pressure washers to fix the installation bracket to a wooden ceiling.
Warning
Self-tapping screws are only suitable for wooden ceilings. In case of
installing the ceiling fan to concrete ceilings or joists, use a drill for
making the holes and plugs or expansion screws (not included).
-
Remove the screws located on the lower part of the motor through the lamp holder. Fig. 10
-
Screw the blades to the blade brackets using the bolts, washers, and nuts provided, then screw the blade-bracket assembly to the main body. Given that the blades are reversible, choose the side you want to screw them on. Fig. 10
-
Fix the LED-light bracket to the main body of the motor by means of the screws on the bottom of the main body. Fig. 11
-
Once the installation bracket is screwed, connect the wiring. First connect the quick-connect cable to the terminal block on the installation bracket. Following the colour code (Fig. 8). From the opposite end of the terminal block, connect the wiring from the installation of your home.
-
Lift the fan previously mounted to the installation bracket and insert the hanging ball through the installation-bracket hole.
-
Connect the cables that come out from the downrod to those from the installation bracket using both quick connectors.
-
Slide the canopy upwards so that all the connections are stored inside it and screw it to the installation bracket using the 4 screws (2 to each side) removed at the beginning of the installation process.
-
Connect the LED board to the quick connector on the main body and attach it to the LED-light bracket with the three built-in magnets.
-
Place the lamp on the bottom of the appliance, using the tabs of the lamp holder to clamp the glass and fully secure it. Fig.12
