Product Usage Instructions

• Getting Started
  • Make sure the unit is turned Off.
  • Find the battery cover located on the back of the electronic Koala, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, then open the battery cover.
  • Remove the old battery by pulling up on one end of the battery.
  • Install 1 new AAA battery following the diagram inside the battery box. For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.
  • Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it. Adult assembly is required for battery installation.
• Product Features
  • Off/Low/High Volume Switch: Slide the switch to Low Volume or High Volume to turn the Koala On. Slide to the Off position to turn it Off.
  • Automatic Shut-Off: The Koala will power down after approximately 30 seconds without input to preserve battery life. Press any button to power it on again.
• Activities
  • Music Button: Press this button to hear sing-along songs, phrases, and melodies. The light will flash with the sounds.

• This adorable, big cuddly friend is a great snuggle buddy for your little one! The soft and padded Koala play mat features textured fabrics to provide tactile stimulation and encourage interaction with baby.

WARNING

GETTING STARTED

Battery Removal and Installation

1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the electronic Koala, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, then open the battery cover.
3. Remove the old battery by pulling up on one end of the battery.
4. Install 1 new AAA battery following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it.

WARNING:

• Adult assembly is required for battery installation.
• Keep batteries out of reach of children.

BATTERY NOTICE

• Use new alkaline batteries or fully charged NI-MH (Nickel Metal- hydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) rechargeable, or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Disposal of batteries and product

• The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or their respective packaging, indicate they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health.
• The chemical symbols Hg, Cd, or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation. The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August 2005.

Please dispose of your product and batteries responsibly. In the UK, give this toy a second life by disposing of it at a small electrical collection point* so all of its materials can be recycled.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

1. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
2. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period.
3. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to excess moisture.
4. Try to change the batteries for new ones if the toy is not working properly.
5. Only the Koala Mat is machine washable, other parts are all surface washable only.
