Product Usage Instructions

• Select and install the branch pipe and adaptor according to the outdoor unit installation manual and actual installation conditions.
• Put the connecting tubing in the proper position and wrench the nuts with your hands, then fasten them with a wrench.
• After tightening the nuts, select the right seal cap to fasten the nuts according to the nut specifications.
• Select the branch header according to downstream indoor unit capacity.
• Follow the specific operation steps for each type of gas side joint (e.g., DXFQT4-02(DZ)).
• Adhere to restrictions on the piping length and high/low differences as outlined in the installation manual.

Insulation Instructions

1. Insulate the branches using the supplied heat insulation material.
2. Apply the heat insulation material and seal all connections with tape to ensure proper insulation.

• Q: How many indoor units can be connected to each branch?
• A: Each branch can connect to one indoor unit only.
• Q: What should be done with unused branch pipes?
• A: For unused branch pipes, seal the pipe orifice with a cap to prevent air leakage.

Thank you very much for purchasing our air conditioner. Before using your air conditioner, please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

Branch List

Model selection and fasten the nut

Please select and install the branch pipe and adaptor according to the outdoor unit installation manual and actual installation conditions. Put the connecting tubing at the proper position, wrench the nuts with your hands then fasten it with a wrench. (Refer to Fig.2).After tightening the nuts, select the right seal cap to fasten the nuts according to the nut specifications.(Refer to Fig.3)

Installation Notices

1. Select the branch header according to downstream indoor unit capacity.

2. Take the DXFQT4-02(DZ) gas side as an example, the operation steps are as follows:
   The DXFQT4-02(DZ) structure is displayed in Fig.4.

3. Restrictions of piping length and high/low difference. See Fig.5. b、c、d、e、f、g、h、i、j、k ≤ 40 m.

The limitation of the pipe length, such as L2 + a、L2 + L4 + b、L2 + L4 + c、L3 + k, should follow the installation manual of the outdoor unit which connects with the branch header.
The limitation of height difference, such as H1, should follow the installation manual of the outdoor unit which connects with the branch header.

Installation Precaution

• The straight horizontal pipe’s distance between two adjacent branch pipes should ≥ 0.5 m.
• The straight horizontal pipe’s distance which indoor unit connecting behind the branch pipe should ≥ 0.5 m.
• For unused branch pipe, the pipe orifice should be sealed see fig.7.
• Each branch can connect one indoor unit only see fig.7; it cannot connect to another branch joint see fig.9.

Be sure to insulate the branches

1. Example of connected branch.
2. Use the supplied heat insulation material to insulate the branches.
3. Apply the heat insulation material and seal all connections with tape.
