Westek DECO GLOW Edge Lit Under Cabinet Light
Thank you for your purchase of this under cabinet light. Unlike most under cabinet lights that are meant to be hidden from view, this Deco-Glow light is meant to be seen when lit, with a transparent window that extends beyond the front edge of your cabinet. Lit by a series of Edge-Lit LED’s, this light creates a contemporary look in your home for a perfect balance of style and usability. When turned off, the transparent window virtually disappears under your cabinet.

Getting Started
- Read these instructions in their entirety before installing or using this product.
- Do not mount this light over a sink or a stove.
WARNING

installed. Products should be installed in accordance with these instructions,
current local electrical codes, and/or the National Electric Code
Installation
Tools Needed: Pencil, Philips Screwdriver, Drill, 1/16” Drill Bit, Tape Measure, Safety Glasses.
- Locate a suitable 120V outlet to install this light to. This light includes a 5’ power cord with a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other) and must be used in a polarized outlet. Do not use adapters or alter the plug.
- Determine the location for your new light – the ideal position is underneath your cabinets, closer to the front of the cabinet, This generally provides the best quality of light while allowing the edge lit panel to be seen while in operation.
- Locate and mark the position of the mounting holes. You can directly mark your cabinet with the pencil. Position the mounting bracket in your desired location and mark the screwholes through the bracket.
- Drill 1/16” pilot holes, being careful not to drill completely through your cabinet.
- Slide the light onto the mounting bracket using gentle pressure. Connect the power cord to the light. The power cord fits only into the side of the light closest to the power buttons. Plug the cord into the power outlet. Do not conceal the cord inside walls, ceilings, soffit, kitchen cabinets, or other similar permanent structures. Do not run the power cord through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors.
- To interconnect multiple fixtures, repeat the above steps 2-4 for the new fixtures, and use the included 12” linking cable to connect the new light to the primary light.
Warning : To avoid permanent fixture damage, link only up to 120 watts maximum. Do not mix and match models other than DWSNCCT-L12 or DWSNCCT-L18.
Operation

Power
Tap the power button to turn on the lights. Press and hold this button to dim the lights -
Color Temperature
Tap the “White Adjust” button to cycle white color temperatures from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. -
Power Off
Tap the power button to power off the light when finished using it.
